I was having a (drunken) discussion with a wealthy friend last year, she was telling me about her holiday home in St Lucia, I said I wouldn't holiday in a 3rd world country because of the security issues, lack of health facilities & I just don't want to see squalor when I'm on holiday. She argued that St Lucia is lovely & safe, I reminded her that while she was there last year the manager of the resort was murdered. She then went on to tell me about when her son was ill & they had to drive the entire length of the island to get medical help. I like civilisation.

You are confusing Arabia with the Arab World - which are two completely different socio-political entities - and to make things more complex, historically even parts of Arabia have not been Arab!

No I'm not, I just knew that what the OP meant by Arabia was the Arab nations and unlike some, I wasn't going to be pedantic about it. Arabia doesn't exist, however, there is a league of Arab nations.
