Wouldn't mind paying if the channels were actually watchable!!! Just tuned in for first match of Premier League and the quality is terrible, keeps breaking up and pixelating   :mad:0

Its impossible for a Multicast signal to pixelate. You have a problem with your connection, FM. Are you watching via a YouView?0 -

It sounds like a quirk with your hub.
Put the YouView into standby mode and then power the box off (pull the cord). Reboot your hub and wait for the connection to re-establish. Turn the YouView box back on and then soft reboot it (press and hold your finger on the box power button for 8 seconds and then let go). You should then get a solid connection back.0 -
Not happy about BT sport increasing their prices now they have CL football exclusive rights. When I signed up the price was £13.99 and they had secured CL football rights, the CS operator didn't say anything about price increases mid year.
Contract will be cancelled after a year and streaming CL games after that. When sky offer a comprehensive TV package including sports for £27 per month, I think BT are abusing their monopolistic position when it comes to football.
To charge £19.99 for a handful of channels is daylight robbery. No wonder streaming sites appear all over the place.0 -
Most of us get BT Sport for free .As per the BT Sports threads .Why are you paying £19-99 PFA put in for a wage increase ??0

Because I am a sky sports customer, that is the rate we are charged for getting BT sport on our sky set top boxes.
After dealing with their awful CS I have no desire to move broadband or telephone over to BT. Streaming sites the way forward for me and a saving of £240, not to be sniffed at.
If you get BT sport for free now, expect to pay in the future.
As I am my own boss, who should I put the wage rise in to!!!0 -
PFA = professional footballers association .
Do let us know if you find any reliable streaming sites for sports .0 -
I think the high cost of BT Sport for non BT Broadband customers is deliberately designed to get sports fans to move to BT Broadband.
It is a cut-throat world for BT and Sky, and although I have crossed swords with BT a few times recently, I don't think they are any more aggressive than Sky in using monopoly sport to lure customers to their services.
I currently pay BT £16.99 for line rental (plus weekend calls), £18.20 for Broadband, and £5 a month for the Sports channels. I pay Sky about £27.50 for the Sports, plus basic channels. I make that a total of just more than £67 for all services.
I stay with BT for purely economic reasons. I would never consider paying
£19.99 for just BT Sport. At least with sky you get documentaries and lots of other stuff.0 -
