    Morning all

Chucking it down here for a change:rolleyes: Bit unfortuanate as Im off to Blackpool to meet some friends for lunch - sitting inside today by the look of it.

Had a very non MS non OS weekend and its all the fault of 2 of our beloved MSE members. Yesterday I met up with Glad and Frizz head for my most favourite activities - Huge lunch, lots of wine and tons of shopping:j The only slight saving grace was that it was all achieved at the local outlet centre (well local for me and Glad poor Frizz drove a total of 6 hours to get here and back:eek: ) So anyway I guess we can comfort ourselves on what we saved rather than what we spent:o

Top buy of the day was a gorgeous black Radley bag and yes we all bought the same one:rotfl: (Frizz spotted it then we realised they had more stock in the back:T )

Havent laughed that much for a long time it was a proper girly goss fest;)

Dont tell them I told you (they spend most of their time in that pub over there so I should be safe) but some of the activities of those girls in the domestic area shocked me to the core - lets just say I think Glad probably has shares in Mr Muscle:eek: but only cleans for 20 mins a day (unlike me of course who can achieve that level of deep cleaning maybe once a year when the parents are coming round:o ) Frizz on the other hand is a proper OSer who cleans her kitchen before she sits down to dinner cos she hates mess (best not invite her round here thenicon7.gif) I think we need Frizz over here regularly for advice.

Anyway it was a fantastic day and despite investing (I prefer that word to spending) more money than the average GDP of a small country I think it was worth it. Two fab ladies Two great new friends:T
  • Welcome Tilly & all the other newbies, the more people who post, the better it is & don't worry that you don't do anything interesting, my post are usually full of rubbish & I never let that stop me!!!

There has been a slight alteration to my plans today, I found a dress that someone gave me a few months ago, I doesn't fit as I an short waisted, so I've cut the bottom off it to turn it in to a tunic, split the side seams & neatened them, & I've cut the bottom into 2 inch strips & am going to sew them onto a thin strip if black stretch fabric & turn it into a boa.

Ahhh bless ya heart Nels. It was such a great day - you are fantastic company and I haven't laughed, nor spent, so much in ages. :naughty: Bad influence that you are.

For those of you not fortunate to have met up with Nelski yet, she is one of the most bubbly people you could ever met - she is effervesant - so full of life. Honest to god, I had jaw ache after all the laughing yesterday - so if you were at Cheshire Oaks yesterday and came across 3 squawking fishwives - that was us. :o

Thanks for such a lovely day - you're coming darn sarf next time. I'm sure there must be a Radley outlet shop somewhere.

    Hello all!

Had a nice day at Ramsgate yesterday, and now have the "rosy sea wind" look to prove it! along with the back of knees redness:o:D kids played on the beach/sea for ages - I only took the buckets & spades but wished I had taken the little boat now! Had my fish n chips - v.nice:D but no HOT DONUTS!! its just not seaside without them is it!!!

I do get sentimental when I go there, probably cos I remember the happy times as a child when my dad was alive and took us there. If I had a Tardis I would love to time travel back to have one more day.:o

Now looking at sorting out mums birthday next friday. thinking of taking her to Blenheim Palace - I see on their website that you can have afternoon tea in the Indian Room - how decadent!! If anyone has been to Blenheim would welcome any advice on whats there if poss? wasnt thinking about taking the kids cos i dont know there is enough there to interest them? (3 & 5yrs).

Nelski/glad/Frizz - Glad you had a great time!! any pics to see??? and was Frizz brown? cos I know she uses the Dove lotion, she recommended it to me before:D

SNowy - so Mitzy it is - thats a character off the Koala Brothers:D

Mrs Mix - oh YES, If I could I would pay someone to do ironing too!!!

    Enjoy your sunday everyone, byee!
  • Nelski i'm sooooooooooo jealous of your radley bag!!! I presume you bought it in tula it is my goal to own one this year!!! HH i know what you mean about cliquey people, i dropped my daughter off at a schoolfrineds party yesterday and some of the other mums barley acknowledged me it's the same at the school gates. I think it says more about them than it does about yourself. Sharron

thought the 3rd member of the 'bag ladies club' should share too :D

we had such a fab day :j

it was a hot day so frizz developed a pink tinge to her dove brown skin, but that doesn't matter I suppose when you're tall, slim and gorgeous :)

my first time meeting Nelski and I should have done it a long time ago, she was great, after 10 mins I felt like I'd known her for years, we honestly did laugh all day

the Radley bag is lovely and a real bargain, honest :o looking at the rrp we saved more than we spent on it, so we were quids in, weren't we ;)

I even did a bit of xmas shopping, some lovely stocking fillers in the Animal shop, bracelets, necklaces etc all down to £1

and some great lunch boxes from Whittards with an icepack that fits in the lid, £2.50 and will be great for OH who hasn't got a fridge in work

also got him some CK boxers from the CK shop, we did try to get them to sell us the pic of the most gorgeous hunk modelling them they have behind the till but no go :( still even frizz would admit it was worth driving for 6 hrs for the drool

BTW way the only Mr Muscle in my house is the OH :rotfl:

Afternoon all, I nearly put morning there:o where is this day going, hugs to anyone who needs/wants one.

    Welcome Tilly :)

Just changed the meal plans as DP now doesn't know when he'll be back, he's just past Leeds somewhere, not slaving making a roast for him to decide he doesn't want it/get something on the way home. Will keep it for when we can sit together and make something else.

Not raining here yet, did last night and threatening too again now, considering taking kids to the park with the dogs even if it does rain they still need to go out and it's only a bit of water, will see if I can find their wellies and my walking boots. More so because I'm sick of he neighbours kids, they're in my garden and screaming every 2 minutes, running in and out etc, basically just getting on my nerves. I'm fine with the hols when it comes to my kids, I like them, sometimes, it's other people's that drive me insane!

Right, best go do 'something' ttfn have a lovely day everyone :)
One day I might be more organised...........
