TSB application form says: "We need your home phone number if you have one to help us verify your address". Does that only work if it's not ex-directory?0

I have just done this over the phone, I was told the PLUS will be removed from my account thereby meaning I now have just a CLASSIC account, this can take 24 hours, then I will be able to open a CLASSIC PLUS account. Fingers crossed.

Just been in to do that and a very quick non-sales meeting all done in 10 minutes my account should be back to a Classic account in 16 hours so I'm told0

Anyone having problems switching Yorkshire account over to TSB.
I requesting the switc yesterday got a txt saying they were unable to start the switc.
I just rang TSB and they said YB has rejected the switc and asked to refer the customer back to them.0 -

I applied this morning and entered my switch info to bring my Yorkshire account over. Got a text a few hours later saying my switch is confirmed for the date I had requested.0 -
X directory here and opened 2 accounts no problem (2 people).
My issue is that I'm living between two addresses and the one where I have a landline (ex-directory) is not the permanent address they'd be credit checking on. If they can somehow verify addresses from ex-directory numbers I'd be better off not giving it.0 -
