  • Could you not convert your existing Classic plus account to a Classic Account and then switch an account over for the Bonus?

Read the previous posts a couple of times, but still not clear on this! I have one sole account at the moment. Can I open a second sole account for the bonus?

No because the terms of the account limit you to one.

I opened a Classic Plus on 21st April 2015, is it possible to switch an account to this account for the £100.00 ?

    .

No because that account wasn't opened in the period 8th June to 28th June which is the period relevant to the offer. After a Classic Plus account is opened in that period through the link a switch needs to be completed by 28th July, £500 paid in and 2 direct debits set up also by then.

    That's very strange!

I've just, in the last 20 minutes, opened an account for someone (as a brand new customer), and was able to choose a user name and password at the end of the application, as well as initiate the switch.

Logged in fine (after creating 'memorable information'), £2K deposited, paperless selected, and cross-funding SOs set up. Tesco DDIs on their way too.

    Easiest account setup ever!
So the DDs have to be set up on the 'new' TSB? or would DDs already on the 'old' account count?

It doesn't matter whether they're transferred over with the switch or set up directly with TSB.

Has anyone applied and received account opening confirm by email?

I applied yesterday - immediately accepted with account but not received email confirmation. Login details not working either.
