I'm not sure I am the best person to recommend a chromebook - but it is very handy to take to meetings as it has excellent battery life and it is a bit like my old windows 7 laptop that I bought it to replace. I bought mine in the black friday pre-Christmas sale and it is an Asus. I used to have a (work) surface pro and that wins hands down but this chromebook was £850-£1000 cheaper at £159. If I could afford it I would go for a screen-operating device but for the money it is fine.

Wonderful weather we are having, I did think we missed the storm, however going out yesterday, I thought - what on earth - seems my design on my front door (the one I complained about less than 2 weeks ago) glass is still there but the design that was on the glass has only about a quarter of it left. Now where do I stand - they are going to say it was storm damage, I would imagine.Today we have every weather from rain, gales, sleet, hailstones, sun and snow with thunder and lightening thrown in,just now heavy snow, but its wet so not lying too long.Managed to clear out my cupboards (top) in the kitchen, still have the bottom and drawers to do. And they say, it comes in 3's, well along with my phone and bulb, I have been looking and found receipt for new kettle (not working now) so needs to be returned, bought 3 months ago.So now its sunny.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.192

bexsterI got my new chromebook today - was out shopping all day - bought a steamer as well, need to pick that up Thursday and went to collect my curtains today only to find out - they sold them !!! after me phoning this morning telling them I would be in for them today (Grrrr) however they said they would source them from another store, so will await the phone call tomorrow. You can tell I'm having a bit of a time of it. One good thing - I picked up my form for my bus pass today, needs completed and sent off just 2 weeks before qualifying date. Roll on . . . expect to save at least £40 -£50 a month, probably more.Tattycath - Not sure if you can multi quote - haven't fathomed that out yet, but yeah you are so right with "not feeling the love" am on it - but mostly reading it.Any other way of communicating would be easier.ps - miss all the emojo's - just not the same, however trying to tell myself that if I found it this way, I would just get on with it. Changes are hard and recently have not been for the best - work abode and techie "things", even eb@y are having a go, saying something about a few listings missing a postcode, yet when I try to sort it out - it tells me an error, and they don;t tell me which listings need the postcode. (grrrr).Hope you are all safe - its been ok here, so far - not saying another word - justin caseAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.191 -
Oh Bexster - I can see your badges, underneath your name, when posting, however they are very small, but if you go into your name as in if you were going to change your signature - there is lots of badges there, for no one to see hahahaAlways have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.191

Hello
thanks for tip re:badges! This is a god-awful change to the site. Sorry to hear of problems. I might be getting a chrome book myself at this rate, if apple of been ousted from MSE forums! Amazing saving re: bus pass. You can’t be much more than 2 weeks away from the big day now can you? Early March?
