i've just opened an account and am moving £2500 to get the £75. I said I had seen the offer on their website. She asked which website and I said ING's, and she just said, ok, fine.

I'll see if they homour the offer, she assured it would be once the cheque was received and the account was opened.

Did not get any flyers but called ing on 0800, the customer rep i spoke to hadnt the foggiest idea what was happening!!!!

Dont think its worthwhile trying to put my money in and then waiting to see if they give me the bonus.

She did say there were loads of incentives at the moment but i couldnt get any of them!!!

SInce I didnt get the flyer!!

    waste of time

i agree, if anybody believes that ING are just going to hand out bucket loads of cash to people who didnt get the flyer and arent within INGS postcode promotion list then these people must really believe that father christmas does come down the chimney on christmas eve. • Just got off the phone to ING re: opening a Direct Savings Account.

I didn't get a flyer but said I had seen the offer on the internet.

This seemed to be perfectly acceptable, the account is set up and I was simply advised to make sure my cheque was for a minimum of £2500 if I wanted the £75.

I guess I'll know for sure on 5 October when the £75 is credited - or not!

I phoned up today and was asked whether I'd received this offer via mailshot. When I said no, seen it on a website, I was told that I wouldn't be able to open the account.
    I'm far too honest!!

I didn't want to risk £1000 or £2500 (on a low interest rate) on the off-chance that I might get the cash, so I went for the £20 bonus option - I put a couple of quid into the account about a month ago and my £20 bonus appeared late last week. My mum and brother did the same as me and also got their £20 bonuses last week too. There really isn't anything to lose with the £20 offer, as you only need to put a quid into the account.
