My 'select all' problem was with Windows Mail 10, where there is no 'select all' function to delete messages from your inbox.
My 'emails not sending' problem was with Outlook.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

In W10 Mail you can't 'select all' to delete mail from your inbox, you have to delete each one individually, a right pain when you've just received 1500 emails dating back to May from your server.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

No, it doesn't. Even the Microsoft 'help' pages tell you to delete them individually, unless they've changed it within the last 2 days.
Edit: which they have, and changed the help pages to reflect that. The function wasn't available 2 days ago, I'm guessing they've had a lot of complaints about it.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I am on standard broadband 10GB a month, enough for me (how quaint). Today I get an email from BT to say I've used 6GB of my 10GB in just 2 days!!
Spoke to the Tech guy and he did lots of tests and told me that on Saturday I used 3.6. and Sunday 3.7, was very surprised but then he said other customers have reported the same. Even though I can see the windows 10 icon I have not even looked at it, quite happy with 7 at the moment, but it has downloaded itself ready for my use. I guess this is so, can't argue with him.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I will just have to pay the extra if I go over the 10GB, perhaps I should invoice WindowsHolding back the years...0 -

It will only get worse with forced updates - there has been a lot of concern over this before release.

By the way I think your maths are a bit out, 6GB is 60% of 10GB.
"Download" has used up around 10% of my b/b usage!
This might be a good time to shop around for a cheaper unmetered deal rather than BT's expensive offerings.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
win 10 can be installed over a "cracked" copy of win 8 , as I found out last night ,
customer using "sweet dreams" pirated win 8 with media centre , win upgrade accepted it and slmgr /xpr shows it as a full legit copy (machine is activated) , full wipe out and reload and totally legal.
seems they blocked the "toolkit" and "rwat" but left this patch active
to the criminal minded its like having a box of win 8 licences ,0
