If they aren't there I think it must be because the two fixes I noted aren't installed - not sure why you are getting the not applicable message on the one you said you did try.
I was just doing that - found 17 updates waiting and a failed installation dated 01 June. They are all now downloading, once they are all installed and I've restarted the laptop I'll see what happens.
You've been helpful, thanks.0 -

64-bit - and need to write more to make this post!
PS in edit - the laptop is an HP and not as I said earlier. The Toshiba is my mum's.0 -

Just rechecked my scheduled tasks. I seethe one that was failing still has the same error code even after manually re-running it. I'm pretty sure that the GWXTriggers entry (which is empty) is new too. Had to link to pic as it screws up post formatting.

Hope you can read this!0 -
Your scheduled task now looks identical to mine. I think you should just try running GWXConfigManager again in an elevated command prompt - it maybe wasn't even there before0

If the update utility finds hardware currently incompatible with the W10 upgrade it may not offer you the upgrade. Obviously if its something removable like a Bluetooth adapter it will warn you, if its something major like a graphics driver it will not offer it until there is a compatible updated driver available.
As we get closer to release date (and beyond then as makers make drivers available this will change.0 -

What does 'elevated command prompt mean'? I did the administrator command prompt thing. The DOS prompt had C:\Windows\system32> and then I wrote your instructions.
Sorry, not technical enough!0 -
Hmm..

Anyway the post I was making basically just said all I did was run the cmd prompt as admin. I've no idea why doing so made my icon appear - it may just have been a coincidence and MS had approved the new Intel driver so let it appear.0
