Chrome I could have lived without, it was the problems with Steam, Origin, and Uplay not being able to connect to internet which have paid for games on that was more important.0 -
I think that what JUDI meant was why does MS put so much effort in to trying to get us all to use ONEDRIVE ?
I tend to agree - it is up to us whether we choose to use it - it should not be assumed - that said, it has saved my bacon, through automatic back ups on more than one occasion !!
Same on a Mac with iDrive. This is modern computing.most people have resorted to classic shell to get the BHP out of there machines
Utter rubbish. Any stats to back that up?
If you spend a little time trying to learn it, and you don't like it, feel free to customise with stuff like this. Just installing it without even checking out the changes, is like putting salt on your food in a restaurant without even tasting it.0 -
you can use the tile setup , I will continue using a menu method that I am accustomed to.
if I want to think I am using a tablet or mobile phone I can revert back to tiles , however I am not using a tablet/phone , so a conventional menu system works better for me0 -
Thank you - does this actually work ie has it been tested by someone after 30 days?0 -
The license converts to Windows 10 as soon as you upgrade. I've updated many PC's only to then completely wipe and clean install and they have all activated.0

It is also on Microsofts web site

Sure, but have you tried downgrading your Windows 10 machine to Windows 7 after the 30 days are up?
Are you saying that Microsoft will refuse to convert the (upgraded) Windows 10 licence back to a Windows 7 one?0
