Shades of Bob Dylan, perhaps?:D
Do not ask why I am still online at silly o'clock - suffice it to say I managed to find a fix for the "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning" game keeping on crashing.:dance::dance: YAY! Go Me!
*Pours another whisky*.:D
Ha ha LW, I didn't even notice I was song lyric writing! Love that song too. I hope you're not too tired today LW, well done on finding a fix.
Well I've been up half the night with unsettled littlies, Roo was crying for daddy, first time he's ever done this.
Started writing this about 6am and am still writing it, I'm trying to drink some coffee and toast, both of which are cold! Not with it this morning and children seem even more demanding than normAl! I've tidied up for the last hour, but the house doesn't look any different! Trying to stop MIL thinking we live in squalor, as she's babysitting today, whilst I'm at work.
Ok will try and set out jobs for today:
Wash up
Unload DW
Put clothes away (about 59 loads worth!!!!)
Bleach toilet
Make sandwiches
Hoover downstairs
Bath littlies
Change beds
Drop Roo at nursery
Unload and put away shopping
Ahh just found the card I thought id lost and cancelled yesterday!!!
Right, cold toast eaten and coffee slurped. Best go and do........something.0 -

Mmm, same here - and I am sure your MIL will understand, most of us have been there at one time or another.
I have been up since 5.30 and I want to go back to bed now. Couldnt sleep, too much whirring around in my brain.
Hoping DS might manage to cut the lawn/hay meadow today but he wasnt feeling too good last night so will see. OH is in my good books and he has been tidying up in the garden so it looks less like a builders yard.
And the decluttering continues - when I get time!
Have a good Friday everyone - roll on the weekend.0 -
My back's hurting which doesn't happen very often so I didn't do the stuff at the back of the house I wanted to get done yesterday. Very frustrating.
I'm going to be picking up and putting away outstide at the back, seeing as it doesn't matter where they're from. Good.
I've told the lodgers they can do a load of washing today, each, before they leave on Sunday because the weather's fine enough, I've caught up on the backlog and it'll make their lives easier. I don't think I've ever actively offered that before to people who stay here; just a measure of how much of a pleasure it's been having them around.Better is good enough.0 -
Missy.. you might strike it lucky and MIL might do all the cleaning and tidying for you.. then you won't be able to make any mess because you won't know where anything is.. and it is called looking 'lived in' not squalid!
Squeak off on a trip to RSPCA *hates* OH asking about going along.. I hate school trips.. while it is about 5 minutes walk from school that is more than enough time for a vehicle on the very busy road to run into them all or to steal one or something.. scaries!! They are so little still!!!
Almost finished another hat for oncology.. it is BRIGHT pink! It is new wool to my stash so I don't want it to linger.
Laundry rushed in from the torrential rain.. its pretty much dry, I hung it out at 9 last night. I need to clear the table and start working it all through the dryer to air it off.
I need to rearrange Tiddles opticians appointment and get her some clothes sorted for a sleepover tonight..

Managed to finish and email a report before gym.
Hot and humid here, rained early am so of course the air con in the gym had packed up! I'm sure I've been sweatier in my life but I can't recall when. Too hot even to use hairdryer which means yucky flat hair all day!
Have written a list of things I need to do before going away this weekend, and another list of what I need to pack. Needs a lot of thought as Mr N & I are driving to his brother, then he's coming home alone on Sun while I stay with my mum for a couple of days returning by coach & train on Tues.
But next must be coffee and lunch.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Oh the girls are being challenging today... they may find themselves posted too!
