Front hedge is now trimmed and garden weeded, wheelie bin almost full. Going to wash the breakfast pots finish the blanket edge and then set the ironing board up in the garden, will take a timer out with me so I don't get carried away and miss work.
    Have a good morning all.

    Good morning flyfriends

Huge list for me today that's what I get for being lazy. Ballet tonight again with DD.

    Wonderful Wednesday!! ~ BEEEAAAUUUUTILICIOUS bedrooms!
    Level One.
Pick up 30 items and put them away.. it doesn't matter where you pick them up from or what you do with them so long as they are in their place, or the bin or the chazzer bag! LW... get out 15 items then put them away again!!
strip and change that bedding that stinky bedding, we don't want you sticking to it!
    Clean the window and frame
    Level Two
Dust radiators and skirtings and any other dusty bits you can see
Wipe down any units.. mug rings off bedside units, make up dust of the dresser top etc

    Level Three.
Sort through a drawer or 2.. see what you can fling or is where it shouldn't be.. or the stuff that you have shoved in a cupboard or wardrobe to 'deal with later' .. get it out and deal with it!
Wipe any lamps or light bulbs and remove dust bunnies with Mr Vacuum.

Extras, if you are a glutton for slaving away over a hot microfibre cloth.!!
    Sort a pile of paperwork
Clear a hotspot.. I hate these things!
clear your notice board of old things.. (mine is desperate!) or update your calendar with new entries (desperate for this doing too!)

...Next.. sit on your bed or a chair in there and admire your beautiful room and that little thing you can now see which needs doing... do it.. then you can have a cuppa and a treat of your choice!! Like a Scooby Snack!!

Thrilling Thursday!! ~ Splendiforous Studies and Stairs!
    Level One.
Pick up 30 items and put them away.. it doesn't matter where you pick them up from or what you do with them so long as they are in their place, or the bin or the chazzer bag! LW... get out 15 items again then put them away again, shake it up by doing 15 different items to yesterday!!

    Level Two

Sort the shoes and coats and bags in the hallway.. can any go away for the summer, or away forever?
Shine any mirrors and dusty those ornaments.
    Level Three.
    Vacuum all the fluffy floors
Wipe down the paintwork in these areas.. I get the raw deal here.. I have wooden stairs!

Extras, if you are a glutton for slaving away over a hot microfibre cloth.!!
    Sort a cupboard or drawer
    Wipe door knobs and handles

...Next.. sit on your chair or the stairs and admire your pretty space and that little thing you can now see which needs doing... do it.. then you can have a delicious cuppa!!

Well bedding is in wm, washing up done and Victoria sponge is in the oven. I hope it turns out ok! It is my hubby's favourite cake and he is always asking me to make it but I don't have much luck with sponge cakes. My cousin made us a beautiful one last week that apparently never fails so I have nabbed the recipe! We will see! Although just realised that I had forgotten about the filling so will heed to buy some more butter when I am out the afternoon!

    Beautiful sunshine here!:j

    Hoover bathroom floors
    WM x1
    Kitchen tidy up
    Pack a box!

Mog still not putting weight on his foot it must be agony! He is asking for strokes and tickles though which is a move in the right direction.

Honey.. sorry, have I kicked up all those bits you've been putting off? It's all well and good doing the big stuff but the little stuff all adds up to a cluttered feel and I am so going for minimalist in here .. bins are the bane of my life.

Healing vibes for the mog. It took Devil Cat about 10 days to realise that we were on his side, although the original idea was that he was going to be handed over to a rescue charity for rehoming. We've never regretted keeping him and OH absolutely worships him. There's something about strays that makes them very, very special.

And yes, Pigpen, you've kicked up all the bits I've been putting off. A whole day spent dealing with them has resulted in the house looking quite smart for once. We're very, very busy with guests at the moment which normally results in stuff being squashed into hiding places until they're gone but this time I seem to have found proper storage spaces for everything. Coming up to three years of flying in a week or so's time. I am determined that the attic will be conquered this year, but I've been saying that since I started. I can at least find things up there now.
    Better is good enough.

What would we do without you?!

About three weeks ago I wrote a little listy of stuff that I really wanted to get done outside, front and back. I've done the front this morning, some of the back and I've got one more thing left and that listy is complete. That would bring to an end all of the urgent niggley things I wanted to get done this year, which is an absolute first. It's not that there's nothing left to do, it's that I'm now in a position to start thinking about creating my Toots list. That didn't take long ....
