    Hiya peeps

I'm home. Managed to get back in time for kiddie bedtime:)
Then did another hours paid stuff and I'm still not really done for the week.
House kept in good order by granny :A kidlets happy, clean and well fed. I'm rather bushed though.
We had a great day yesterday. Our company runs a volunteering scheme so part of my trip was with a team from our department doing a playground makeover in a special needs school. It was a bit run down and overcome with weeds, but we got the whole lot dug over, mulched, planted up and painted. It was like being on Ground Force :D the kiddies were lovely and all the school seem well pleased with their new space.

But that is also why I'm behind on my work... ;)

Off to look at the lovely lists and plan my day tomorrow!

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Missy - good luck with the exam the morrow :)

Had my nails shellaced today and really pleased with them. Even DH said they look really nice. Any advice re them would be gratefully received :D

I have a visit to the Nurse the morrow for a new patient check-up. I have a couple of things to ask her and will ask how much longer I should expect my foot to be bothering me as well and see if she has any advice.

Hoping that the weather improves by Friday as I would like to get the balcony boxes emptied of bulbs. I can then get DH to take me to the nursery for more compost and plants :T My parsley has survived another winter and I have mint 'growing roots' in the kitchen ready to plant outside. Think I'm going to grow some pea shoots again this year as they were quite successful and get some nasturtium seeds as well.

Sorted out last thirty or so books and put into bags ready to take to CS at the weekend when have DH to carry.

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

    Morning all
    Hope everyone is well
Put the fear of the Lord into my DS2 last night told him I hoped he was all prepared for his exam today, which lead to a 3 hour revision session. Then he went in the kitchen and saw his exam times on the freezer door. And announced tomorrow is Thursday his exams not till Friday. Lol I'd genuinely lost a day and thought today was going to be Friday. Still it's given him an extra nights revision. Slightly annoyed with him as he's lost his school shoes over half term and didn't realise till Monday morning I think he left them at a friends on the last Friday as he came home in different clothes ( he'd got changed at said friends) our house has been turned upside down and no sign of them, luckily he had anotherIr he'll get away with. Keep nagging him to help his friend look for them.
Almost finished blanket for friend just need to do edging along two sides. Think I might take the ironing into the back garden this morning. That and cut the front hedge

Weather looks lovely so make the most of it

Bossy what a nice sense of achievement. I am at my voluntary job this afternoon. I dont really have the time for it so I have cut it down to one afternoon a month but I dont want to give it up altogether.

So with paid stuff this morning and voluntary stuff this aft I wont get time for much else today but I have hung the washing out and had a bit of a tidy around this morning.

Have a good Thursday everyone x

RE: Bedroom Wednesday:- Being a well qualified slob..one thing I do find handy re bedding is to fold it all up (i.e. bottom sheet, quilt cover, 3 pillowcases, all packed into the 4th pillowcase. Ergo...every complete bed set is packed into one pillowcase....makes me feel really righteous when i go to change the beds and it's ll there in one neat place.

That's a great idea! I always have random pillowcases and sheets tumbled wildly in a cupboard so this might be the answer! :money:
