Snotty message sent to Musclefoods... do NOT buy from them.. OH nearly choked on some disgusting fat on a steak and the next bite almost choked again on a piece of gristle. The chicken they sent us was meant to be 2.5kg and underweight by 335g!! their mince tasted off and the sausages were crushed beyond recognition. When I contacted them my issues were totally ignored.. NOT impressed.. then the cheeky gits send email offers through. I did mention that I have seen less fat on the brawn my nanna bought for her dog than on their steaks! lol

Back from ballet DD. She is now in her jammies and her ballet clothes are in the WM.
Managed to get 3 bags filled out of 1 wardrobe today and what I have left in there is lovely and tidy. Just another 2 doubles, 2 singles, 4 drawers and 7 cupboards to go in my room and then I have the kids ones to do.
Pot of soup made earlier so I'm going to portion up what's left and fridge/freezer it.
Still need to make my bed up but need to wait till either OH or DS2 is here to help me with the duvet cover. Otherwise I will have back ache for days again.
Off to make DS1 something to eat that's him just finished.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Hi all,
Not a bad day today, felt like I'd done a days work by the time I'd got the kids to school. Wm was on, dw on, shopping delivered and put away, garden path swept all before 8.30. This never happens, so I reckon being on here is really helping, thanks everyone.
After paid stuff I finished the last bits of Tuesday's kitchen list, started yesterday's bedroom list (30 item from both bedrooms!) swept up a bit round the front of the house, did a bit of weeding (a drop in the ocean, but better than nothing) vacced the bedrooms.
I'm pleased!
missy I'm sure you did well in your exam. You sound a bit like me, I have been known to read times/dates of important things wrong. Only last week I forgot to go on a training course. At least you got there!0 -
WM emptied and everything now on the winterdyke. My bed is half made.
DD has just informed me it's come as you please day tomorrow of course this was after I had got a uniform out!
Off to get DD to go to bed then I'm going to SOMFA and knit:D
Night all sleep well xI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Started the day by cleaning the church. Huh, can't even keep up with my own house so how I got talked into being on the cleaning rota shows how weak I am. Mr N took his mum for her eye appt, at last they have given a date for her cataract op - originally 2 July but we're on hols so they changed it to 19th.
I got home before them, so whizzed around putting lots of things away, emptied DW, brought in washing etc.
Lots in garden this afternoon. Mr N now ironing watching the TT racing while I've come upstairs to finish a report. At least I will when I've finished here.............Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Ok so I've sat and watched 'The Job Centre' back to back, that was rather random watching, and I've come upstairs and sorted the washinf into piles and put half of it away. Definitely did 30 things, so that's that. Really enjoying this part of the lists, will try and do it every day. Will endeavour to make my bedroom back into my sanctuary, rather than a biscuit crumb filled toy pit!
Biscuit monster, glad it's not just me!
Going to bed now, sleep tight.0 -
Feeling very behind
LR and conservatory are tips. But I'm too tired now. Just finished my appraisal mid-year notes which need to be loaded onto the system tomorrow. But that's it then until Monday. So I'm here and devoting myself to flying (minus a trip out to ballet tomorrow and maybe a short outing on Saturday).
I've not even flipped my calendar over to June yet... In my head it's still March haha
Beavers were little s0ds tonight, including DS. 20-odd hot, tired little boys? Yuck! Lol. Was glad when 8 o clock arrivedBossymoo

Do not ask why I am still online at silly o'clock - suffice it to say I managed to find a fix for the "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning" game keeping on crashing.:dance::dance: YAY! Go Me!

Morning everyone!
Managed to do an hour and a half gardening yesterday in anticipation of rain today - but it's not due to do that until later so hope to get out again first thing. My topiary grazing deer is coming along nicely. Just need to wait until ndn goes out so I can get round their side to finish off!!
Plan today is
washer on
HHI or 2
Money sort
Quick top up fruit shop and banking
Double HH gardening
Paperwork sort for DS - insurance due soon so that's a year in his flat already - doesn't time fly!
Have read back quickly - so hugs sticks and spoons to everyone needing them.
Will try and rehome 1 or 2 x 30 things later today Pigpen. Love the lists but not been up to doing them unfortunately.July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200
