Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

Hey, we've never asked for everything to be done.. just what you can.. I promised not to send Aragog round to torment you if you do not complete every last thing! My bathroom is squalid.. this is what I need to do to make it habitable! Well, I need to decorate it too.. but that can be Tuesdays list :p

I'm in! Thanks for the list pigpen! I might have to start this one on Wednesday though as working and then tomorrow night coaching and then will be marking books after that.

Today I have finished the wardrobes. My second bag for the cs is full so I plan to get rid of those on Wednesday. I was a bit sad and even sorted a load of coat hangers. Loads to fling and I made sure all the ones that were left, matched. So hubby has bought black ones for his shirts, hoodies/jumpers and suits. I have black ones that you get with the clothes when you buy them from the shop (iyswim) but virtually all the same. They look lovely! Have also tidied up the hallway, made some bread for lunches tomorrow and done a weekly shop (£18 if you please!!!)

Before I went shopping I did a three week meal plan (could be when we are moving!) so all the meals should be made from the freezer! And shouldn't have too much left, hence the £18 shopping trip! Kitchen has also had a quick once over but didn't get time to hoover!
    Happy Monday everybody!

    But I'm not here, miss!!!

My thoughts exactly, pigpen! Thank you for the list, but - like bossy - I shall be away for most of the week. Quite sorry to miss the fun :p

I have fielded three phonecalls this evening, each of which could have been limited to about 3 minutes, but the callers decided to make a meal of it and go on and on and on and on... Whatever happened to the pips????? Younger flyladies will probably have no idea what I'm talking about. :rotfl:

My computer is doing its usual late-night go-slow, which is ****** frustrating when I've still got so much to do.

Dusty, I hope your mum is able to have her op soon. You sound very down. Please be kind to yourself this week.

Hope everyone else has a good week too. I will try to S&S my bathroom tomorrow, just to keep you all company, but after that everything else will have to wait. (I might try this week's list next week, for fun ;) )

    Good night all x

I'm in for the week. Thanks for the list piggers. I was slightly worried about you doing the list but it's actually not too bad (so far) :rotfl:

2x wm since I got in from work, 1 x td and some stuff on the winterdyke. I've laid out the school stuff for the morning and have done what I can of the packed lunches. Sorted out the cupboard that I keep the medicines in. I couldn't find the soluble parrots last night for DS2 I had to pull the full cupboard out. So I've put all the packets and bottles in a basket so I can just lift the lot out. Threw out lots of stuff that was past its expiration date. So it's lovely and tidy in there!

Off to bed night all x sleep well x
