  • Evening everyone - we're back!

Had a brilliant weekend in Dustyland - mostly good weather - lovely long walks and superb meals out and a very special time with DS and DS GF and her puppy, my DH, D sis and her hubby for my early big "0" birthday weekend. DS had gone to loads of trouble and got nibbles and bubbly for before dinner and I was well and truly spoiled with lots of presents. Came home today via Nat Mem Arboretum which was amazing - apart from the weather at one point!

Now need to get a move on and catch up before hols very soon.

Will catch up on thread tomorrow- thanks for last week's thread and this week's. Piggers I am sure you must live in the Dr Who Tardis with all the stuff you are bagging up. Please remember Ch shops can and do collect directly from you - at the rate you are going they'll need a big van! either that or to schedule a daily pick up!

    Welcome to all newbies. x

  • Hi all,

Welcome Willowpop, don't worry, my house is always only presentable in very small sections. We are all here because we need a bit (in my case a lot) of help. pigpen wow, I am jealous, I want to do it, starting with all the plastic tat my kids seem to love so much.

Done OK today, considering I was doing the paid stuff until school pickup, then children had dentist, then food shopping, then made food, worked on bathroom, wm, dw, children to bed.

How come I can pick up and put away 30 things and not notice any difference?

I am a bit scared now, as children asleep, OH out, very very windy and our house is surrounded by large trees. :(

    Merry Moonday!! ~ BEEEAAAUUUUTILICIOUS bathrooms!
    Level One.
    Level Two
    Level Three.
Swoop upon that laundry and fling it in the wash.. towels, flannels, clothing, shower curtain if it needs it.. get it all sparkling and smelling of sweet things!
    Sweep/mop/vacuum floors.
Wipe any icky marks off the walls, doors and anywhere else in here..

Extras, if you are a glutton for slaving away over a hot microfibre cloth.!!

...Next.. close the lid of the loo, sit on it and admire your beautiful room and that little thing you can now see which needs doing... do it.. then you can have a cuppa!
  • Stop press,
When OH came home I was too scared because of the wind to take the dog out for her evening walk, so OH took her out and while he was gone I finished the list for the first time ever!
I am just now making the brew at the end of the list. Hooray

That said, amazingly, I have all the Monday list done!! with the exception of
Pick up 30 items and put them away.. it doesn't matter where you pick them up from or what you do with them so long as they are in their place, or the bin or the chazzer bag!
Because I cannot for the life of me find 30 items that are not in their correct places.:D
I am in the same place with the list and the same dilemma with the 30 items :rotfl:

Morning all. Yes, I'm up already!

Had a great time at African drumming workshop last night, got home at 10.15 pm, worked until 12.30 am, and now I'm about to start again. I have to get this job finished by 2.30 pm today

I am surrounded by piles of printouts, all of which need sorting and many of which need trimming and laminating. The stuff will look good once it is finished, so I am quite pleased with all my efforts - it's just that it's totally time-consuming.

My hands are a bit sore after first time drumming, but it was very relaxing and just what I needed after a day hunched over the computer.

Off to see DS2 and family later, and delivering this box to my colleague on the way. I *will* get it done somehow

Hope everyone has a good day. Welcome to newbies and returnees  We're (still) all a bit crazy here - or in my case a lot - and you'll fit in just fine.

    Hugs all round x

Just look at the time  Wings adjusted, cuppa in hand - and take-off

    Hey,

Late unfortunately, but I'm in! Actually managed some stuff off the list yesterday, despite being out most of the day. Cleaned the bathrooms and downstairs loo, so it was all lemony fresh, and even shined the taps. Then ran around like a mad thing, clearing away toys which were a major trip hazard, covering the whole of upstairs. Managed to make some biscuits too.
Am at work today but desperately need to do some things off the list, and sort out the 5 loads of washing! And need to revise for my exam on Thursday, of which I've done nothing so far for!!! Eeek!
Well done on the flingage Pigpen! I need to get back into the flinging zone! Think I'll wait til I can decluttering OH off to work for a month on Wednesday.
Well I've made lunches and tea, best get in the shower!
