Hello fellow recently out of lurkdom person !:)
Hello and thanks Willowpop.
I have moved onto the stage where I think it's about time to stand up and say hello and thank you to all the lovely people who I feel I 'know' after lurking so long. I do read most of the old style board for inspiration and ideas and have been slowly but surely decluttering plus recently the more concentrated kondoing and now it's getting to the 'keeping on top of it' flying.
It has taken time but things are getting there, so will keep reading and hopefully contribute more too.0 -

Just in from work, my back hurts I came downstairs too fast at lunchtime and something clicked, feel really stiff now.
Pigpen so sorry to rad about your DD2s friend my deepest sympathies to all affected by this very sad loss.
Well done on your huge charitable mountain, you will gain a lovely amount of space once it's gone.
Hugs good wishes and posi vibes to all who need or want them. Have scan backroad but not retained a huge amount.
Trying to wrap a pressie I need to take out with me tonight and sort out the minutes for tonight's govs meeting as well as feeding the boys, ironing an explorers shirt and have. A quick S&s round so place doesn't look too neglected. Love the fact all the extra hours have doubled my wages for the month but the lack of time spent in the house is showing.
Think I've managed to shift 30 things from the lounge - was basically putting away the wool I'd been working with, sorting the newspapers and junk mail for recycling and putting coats bags and shoes the boys had abandoned in the lounge in the alcove.SPC~12 ot 124

Ok, my Kitchen is Klean!:D Or as klean as I can manage, at least.;) Luckily for me, looking at today's list (see, I am trying at least this week) the light bulb was cleaned thoroughly a short while back, when Mr LW painted the ceiling.:D
Still can't find 30 things not in their right place, though. Maybe I should move 30 things out of their homes, so that I can put them away tomorrow?:rotfl:
Alfie's finished up one of the two tupperware boxes of food he brought with him (he's just over half way through his stay) so the box has been given a good scrub; he can take it home all lovely and clean.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Thanks for the company elastic!
I managed to unload dw, empty out bins and take out all rubbish and recycling and deweb the bathrooms! Also rehomed some bits from the kitchen.
Goi to pick ds up from after school club and I will be back....

Not a huge flying day house-wise.
Decluttered interview, having passed the first test of getting from the car park to the office in very wild weather and making it without looking too windswept!
Had free coffee at garden centre on the way home with Mr N, who took an early lunch break when summoned!
Stopped to get Euros on the way back through the village.
Hand-Washed interview blouse and undies when I got home as all are white and 'delicate'.
Did a bit of email/organising diary/online shopping.
Continued report writing.
Apart from cooking dinner (Mr N kindly started it), that will probably be it as it is flower club this evening so I won't be home till late.
Pigpen you definitely win this month's star decluttering prize.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Little bit more done
I've been weighting all day for DD2 to come home from her friends to help me with some bits. 4 hours after saying she was coming home she finally turned up  just in time to head off to my parents for the night, so nothing done with her
I hope DD1 will help me some bits this evening.

Hi,
Nothing done yet but just posting my intentions. Got home from work to find kitchen trashed by children. So I'm glad it is kitchen on the list today, going to do as much as I can in the next hour or two in between eating and sorting out children.
After such success with bathroom yesterday, some unidentified person has walked mud all over the nice clean bath mat. Grrrrrrrrrr. Going to buy a brown one next time.0 -
Well who knew.....white vinegar on a sponge scourer cleans pretty much anything really quickly. Cooker hood, cupboards fronts, tiles, you name it. My new favourite cleaner.PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.
Now to start saving...it's a whole new world!!0 -
Cleaned out the cupboard under the sink while dinner was cooking and cleaned the door (and cleaned the glass!) and pied the door frames and switches! It wasn't until I looked closely that I saw how grubby they were. All at the same height! Kids!!!! Then gave it a quick Hoover so kitchen is looking great!
I'm feeling a little blah! So come to bed with a hog drink to mooch on here to try and cheer myself up!
Here is my list...

Terrific Tutuesday!! ~ All done
Will crack on with the bathrooms tomorro afternoon.
Had some bad news about our house sale so that might be why I am feeling a bit pants. If we don't move in the next three weeks our buyer is going away for three months!! I really don't want to move n September, so really hoping the solicitors pull their fingers out. There doesn't seem yo fe much that we are waiting on bug you never know with solicitors.
Also, last week I was saying our management company wanted nearly £400 to get paperwork and stuff. Our solictor has been in contact with them and got it down to £170. Robbing bl**ders!Grocery challenge-
