    Morning all

Day at home today so hope to get some flying done although my IBS is playing up so not feeling it right now.

Valli well done to DD on her job.

DS2 has been kondoing so I need to help sort that lot into piles to get it out of the house asap.

Washing machine on, kittens booked for the snip tomorrow, hoping it is not too costly as one kitten is only displaying half of his manhood so they need to rummage to find the other

Oh good I can hear the dustcart outside so one of my recycling bins is now empty.

Didn't really have time for anything yesterday govs meeting then picking up Ds2 from explorers then do pack ups and fall into bed. Tossing and turning cos of back which didn't help, so was sitting up crocheting at 5 am! Just getting boys decluttered off to work and school. DH has dentist today to hopefully sort his tooth out not sure till he gets home if it's a filling a root canal or an extraction! He's been in pain with it for about a month the X-rays were 3 weeks ago but this was the earliest they could fit him in.

    Morning Ladies,
Just been checking my bank account to find my tax credit have gone down, but my circumstances haven't changed  I haven't received a new awards notice yet so have no idea why the change. Did try phoning :rotfl: but of course can't get through to anyone
I'm waiting to find out if DD2 is coming food shopping with me this morning or not. I phoned my mum earlier and asked her to ask once she's up.
I'm going to the cinema with my best friend this afternoon. I hope what we're seeing is good cos it was my choice :o

Oh, oh, oh I'm on hold with tax credits! :j

Does anyone have trouble posting this morning? I keep getting a timed out page coming up

List sorted.. girls out to school.. Dot is being 'challenging' , again!..

Mount Chazmore is being collected today.. all of it.. if it takes 2 or 3 runs it is all going today.. then I can start all over again!! I doubt I will manage 30 bags again for a long while though.. 30 bags.. in a week!! It's pretty crazy isn't it!

It looks decent weather out there so I shall hopefully get through Mount Washmore too.. and can get my bedding changed.. before I do actually stick to it!

Wednesday already though.. where is this week going??

I hope MiniMissyMoo enjoys her first day of nursery.

Yup, WendyWitch, I'm getting the 'Timed out' message as well. I have a horrible feeling we're being nudged towards the new layout which I can't get my head around at all.

Well who knew.....white vinegar on a sponge scourer cleans pretty much anything really quickly. Cooker hood, cupboards fronts, tiles, you name it. My new favourite cleaner.

Excellent idea. Thanks for that tip. I have no idea why it didn't occur to me but it's about to be used all over the place.

Congratulations to the Valli Miss on her job.

My stray is doing well after his op. The abcess on his leg was lanced cleaned. he is still not weight bearing on it but it is looking better already, his little furry trotter is less swollen. We got him out of the crate for some hugs and he ran back in as fast as he could when I put him down.. he obviously feels safe in there so, in there he can stay if that is what he needs. Why do people do this? He is so frightened and unloved and is just a little furry soul, it is so mean. People are disgusting sometimes.

Two of the dogs I adopted were picked up as strays, and I took Devil Cat in when it was obvious he was struggling to cope as a stray and had been around for several months. I don't know what's wrong with people either but I know that the vast majority of cats and dogs in rescue centre are there because some a**h*le thought getting a puppy or a kitten was fun and then couldn't be bothered with them when they stopped being a plaything. That little stray you're looking after is a very lucky little one; I love the crate!

I'm going to be rehoming at least 3 x 30 things today to catch up with the listies and spend 5 minutes in every room dealing with the most obvious needs. First load is through the machine and will go out on the line shortly and if anything on the lines in the yard is dry that'll make space for the next load.
    Better is good enough.

I keep getting the timed out messages as well

My cat was adopted as a young adult about 18mths to 2 yrs when we got him. He was found sheltering in someone's garage over the new year. Sanctuary said he hadn't been out long as he still looked ok when they got him. I think he was replaced by a younger fluffier cuter model at Christmas and given his marching orders. We had him for about 18 years and he was never any trouble and gave us lots of pleasure.
Can never understand people who abandon pets like that.

I thought the house wasn't too bad, but I'm having to spend a lot longer than five minutes in each room. Grr. I suppose I should have realised that the reason the 'little jobs' gets left is that, actually, they're not 'little' they're the time consuming finishing off things. Bins all over the place being emptied and recycling being sorted, OH has mended my bedside lamp and walked the dog. Good man. Second load in the WM but absolutely no space left to dry it when it's finished. The sun is supposed to be out ....
    Better is good enough.

Mog still not putting weight on his foot it must be agony! He is asking for strokes and tickles though which is a move in the right direction.
    Chazzle gubbins collected
2x WM and both hung out just going to put the next 2 lots in.. my kitchen has really suffered while I've been upstairs.

OH and girls playing in the garden.. we are trotting to Tesco in about an hour after we drop Dot at nursery.. we need to pop to solicitor and jobcentre too so that will be a fun cram it all in 2 hours run about.

Honey.. sorry, have I kicked up all those bits you've been putting off? It's all well and good doing the big stuff but the little stuff all adds up to a cluttered feel and I am so going for minimalist in here .. bins are the bane of my life.. they just get left and the webs accumulate and the rubbish overflows or gets knocked over and the hotspots grow and it all just gets overwhelming.. I'm not even doing any cleaning.. I am flinging and will clean when I can do it all at once rather than bitty bits here and there.. that seems a waste of my energy. The sitting back and looking gives us time to appreciate what we have and the space we occupy and there is always 1 more little thing to do that we cant see in chaos but then becomes apparent.

I have this last few weeks developed an attitude adjustment and I want to have room and space and that means everything must go.. I am in a closing down sale.. lol

Anyway.. I need to feed WM and 2 girls.. I will do them a picnic actually, they like picnics!
