  • Good afternoon all, just a quick one. I had a catatonic episode this morning so I am still very out of it. I was so trapped in other worlds that my carer left because she couldn't even get me to speak nevermind exercise. She considered calling an ambulance, I am so glad that she didn't do that because it is a waste of everyone's time. I am a lot better now but very drowsy from the anti-psychotics. I might try a nap for a while or just sit here staring at the wall, either will work. I have been trying to type this for 20 minutes so I think I will give up on the internet for now. Warm hugs and handshakes to all who need them.

What sort of scary is she, Joanthebone?
Is she just odd, or has she done anything to make you particularly fearful?

She is bigger than me and gives me funny looks, I know that sounds pathetic!!... She has not slept here for a couple of nights, just comes in around tea-time and uses the loo, puts some stuff in my washing machine and disappears, its just that I never know when she will turn up... when she does she bangs every door she can, I just keep out of the way.

I have to let her stay till the end of September.

Not too long to go. Hang on in there. :A

I don't want to go into all the ins and outs of my lodger problem here.... I already have a thread about that! .... she is just very 'in my face' and is big and loud ... which is scary enough for me as I am a first class wimp!

New locks are on the shopping list, got the sizes all sorted out already!;)

WaS sorry to hear about today. I hope it gets better.

Plumbing disaster here had to turn the water off LOL!!!!

Remind me never to let husband near anything ever again :rotfl: I had a small drip that has now turned in to a flood. He bought a new part but not the same as the last one so choose not to fit it.. Went to wickes who claimed to have 3 in stock but nope. Wasted journey.

I took the arm that holds the ball valve on and undid what husband had done and now it wont stop running in to the tank. So water off!!!!

I don't have the money to pay someone to do it for me!!!!

have to get my dad to come and have a look. need to chat to him about someone thing so maybe I can do both at the same time!!!

    Yours

    Calley

Calley, if it is a ball valve problem, can you explain what was wrong with it?

Was the ball valve not shutting off the water inlet properly, so that the cistern carried on filling up to the overflow pipe?
