If you were Gitdog, I'd be soaking you in Epsom salts. Not sure how that translates to the forehead though.

Hello all! I'm still recovering from my weekend, but I am back!

Ham in coke sounds wonderful - I will deffo try at some point.

Elsien - if you have to get a dress, TKMaxx is great for dresses like that. I had a VERY quick look, and obviously I don't know what shape you are, but I did think that http://www.tkmaxx.com/new-in-womens-clothing/black-textured-jewel-dress/invt/01014017 looked like a pretty standard LBD.

*getting into my stride now* or http://www.tkmaxx.com/view-all-womenswear/black-sleeved-jersey-ponte-dress/invt/30036684 would cover more lumps and bumps if you have any
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).
  • Thanks for that recipe code, will be trying that out :)

Elsien, Debenhams and M&S (Debenhams especially) have some gorgeous dresses on their websites at the moment. I don't think dresses do have to be long, but there are some lovely long dresses on there too, if that's what you feel more comfortable in.

    dragonette and JM :)

Was thinking about tealover before, don't know what reminded me, but hope she's doing ok :)

Elsien - the assessment felt ok, but I've gone from 2 possible diagnoses for the ESA one in May to 6 diagnoses now. Most are symptomatically catergorised, so 4 of them have some sort of immunnervous root but can all flare independently.

The nurse was a lot nicer than the ESA assessment, but it was incredibly hard to answer honestly about just how bad things get. Hence the crying fit and comfort from my 'others', so very grateful for it too! Slight penguin, more for privacy than anything:

The 6 diagnoses are (currently) ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, IBS, Reynaulds syndrome, arm nerve damage and 'dissociation' (poss DID/MPD). The first 4 prob have their roots in a screwy immune system, and it can present as any combination of them. Which can aggravate the nerve impingement. And when they are all high, or the pain is high, I'm much more likely to dissociate. I like my others, atm they are not fully formed as complete personalities so when I dissociate I feel like an empty shell, with me locked in the back of my head. I love my Dragon and lizard very very much, just want to not have haunting hollowness when we all hide at the same time

I'd say a knee or long tea length dress with black tights - Think 50's for the length (and the fullness of the skirt as you prefer :) )

Code anything that dries the skin should bring it to a head and get it over sooner.

    *waves back happily*

Hmm, I'm still hoping Tea is ok too

Thanks all for the suggestions. I'm small but an odd shape so dresses always have to be altered then I get cross and stomp out of the shop because nothing fits. Does anyone actually enjoy shopping for clothes?

Feeling a bit better today, think it helped that work wasn't too bad. I'm just aching all over now. But i'm off for two days, in for one then off for the weekend.

Looking forward to seeing Swain but due to the wonderful stress of yesterday now have a coldsore (very rarely get them unless im rundown and stressed), so we're limited to cuddles (but i've been told i'll get plenty of them so its ok)

Hope everyone is ok, need to catch up on thread. :)
