Having been away twice this year, I was asked by my dad if I was planning any more trips again this year. Debating somewhere next year I think. Do want to go back to France; but for various reasons, (my issues and my friends health issues which means he can't walk around with me) it looks like I won't be going to the festival in June.Sealed pot challenge #232. Duke, I saw it on Facebook. It's interesting as a talking point I think but not sure asking for help through a tattoo on your leg only visible upside down is the best way to go about it.
As an awareness raising tool though, it's pretty good.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
What would your up-side down message be?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

I do like tattoos and have my own, just not sure I would want something as a permanent reminder of feeling rubbish. To me it would say that is something I am stuck with for life (which may be true), but when I am feeling good I would want to enjoy it rather than be reminded it will all go pear shaped again.
I like the idea of opening up conversation though.

Yeah I had mixed feelings about it too folks. But I agree good to raise awareness.
Not sure what my message would be whitwing, I'd have to think about it. Harry's message would be 'You Are Safe!'

Hello Duke! Hope you and Harry are ok! I wantg to cuddle a baby orangutan!
Eeeeek Katy! Eating gone off chicken is not the way to encourage the escapee! Be careful!
All ok here, other than woke up, had a banana and then bent over to pick something up and it flowed straight back out of my stomach like water. Stupid acid. I don't have scales but my stomach certainly looks flatter, the involuntary weight loss is a good thing at least!
I think I am going to somehow find the money to pay for my carer for an extra day a week. I already use my DLA for one day and I believe we can stretch to twice. The reason being that WaSp's back is so bad that he cannot do my physio with me. I have to lie flat and my legs have to be pulled, positioned and stretched quite hard, I cannot use any muscles myself while this happens. WaSp can't pull hard enough without triggering his own problems. At least it means I will have that type of physio twice weekly and we can manage the upper body movements for my neck and shoulders ourselves. We've been to Vegas at Halloween before and D wants to go then this year. I love all the Halloween stuff in the shops too.
I love Halloween so am super excited about being there for it, what's great too is that Christmas arrives shortly after so we get to see 2 lots of decorations in the parks! We haven't got our costumes yet but my Mum and Dad are going over to Florida right now and have promised to go to Hot Topic and buy me an R2D2 dress and a C-3P0 t-shirt for DH and there's a high probability that DS will be Yoda! :rotfl:
I'm not sure about the tattoo either, like Katy says, it's a pretty permanent reminder and maybe something you don't want to see when you're having a bad day/week/year. The 'semi colon' project was mentioned on here previously and there's a lot of jewellery on Etsy that I think is lovely and a nice way of spreading awareness without the permanence of a tattoo.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary.
