    Onomatopaeia...aha! So that's why you're learning Italian! Un'amica italiana! Appunto! :D
Prima di commincare ad imparare italiano, avevo gia conosciuto la mia amica per cinque o sei anni . È stata la vacanza in Italia per il matrimonio del mio fratello quando ho deciso, perche mi è piaciuto il paese e la gente così tanto.

For everyone else (and possibly Pyxis too, as I didn't check any of the spellings so it might be gobbledygook :o ), before I started learning Italian I'd already known my Italian friend for several years, it was going to Italy for my brother's wedding and liking it so much there that made me decide to learn the language.

    Afternoon my lovelies,

Hugs, squishes, handshakes and duvet fort for everyone that needs them. And I think it was flybaby that mentioned the lotus caramalised biscuits. I do like those a lot. My favs are cafe noir but they never go on offer and over a £1 a packet I rarely buy them.

Not been posting but have been reading.

not much to say as don't feel one thing or the other LOL!!!just meh.

I will take the blame for the weather if you have rain. I cut the grass out the front and back this morning :rotfl:I did have a little go at tackling the forest at the bottom of the garden. Got a little done then it started to rain  and has been all day.

As soon as I got in I did jump in the shower as I have cat poo phobia. As have to do a cat poo patrol before I cut the grass. And then all the the clothes I am wearing goes in for wash. All part from my trainers as I still wear them. I know strange or what LOL!!! But I do wipe them over anti bacterial wipes with gloves on.

MU there is a hello kitty live show. Of course its for the kids Linky here

My back is twinging. Too much running and now I know why runners run in he road. The paths round here are crap.

I cannot see how the phone can be your fault, MU. I think you should stop taking responsibility for it.

I bet it will mysteriously start working again soon. That's what happened to our laptop. It sulked for a bit through overuse, I think.

ETA: I'm not sure about anyone else, but it is slightly giving me the chills if Swain is blaming you, although from your post it seems more like you blaming yourself.
It was more me blaming myself, as the phone now appears to be working, he's told me multiple times to stop worrying about it and he even rang me to let me know at most the battery needs replacing but he rang to let me know it was ok and cos he knew i was worrying about it amd again there's no need to worry. :o

In fairness i did warn him of my terrible track record with tehcnology...this is my 9th (!!!!) laptop :o

I did end up going to the pub for a bit and have stopped worrying now.

calley-OMG that looks so cute!! Ooh whitewing-i remember you saying littlewing likes Hello Kitty-would she like that show?

I got my 1st laptop in 2001/2002. Up until a few weeks ago it was in one piece I took it apart to take the hard drive out to destroy it. But way to slow to use. I am now on my third in 13/14 yrs.

Ok I will keep you away from mine.

This one I am using at the moment is just over 3 yrs old. The last one lasted 8 yrs but my husband took that with him when he left. I lasted about 2 months with out one then went and bought one. he finally retired it late last year. And got one that has a touch screen and can be used as a tablet.

This one is still going strong (i've had it just over a year), and i'm hoping it remains so for a good few years to come!! I've been extra careful with it, hell it still had the peel off protective plastic on it until the other week :rotfl:

I was lucky that when the previous one died, my parents had given me some inheritance from a relative so i was able to replace it with a decent new one. But i'm determined to look after it as i don't want to be paying out for another.

I am very bad. I carry mine up and down the stairs with the power lead trailing behind me. The black outer plastic sheath has come away from the plug. But there is no bare wires LOL!!!

The only complaint about this is that who designed it is a muppet. As they have put the power socket right next to the dvd drive!!! There is less than a cm between the two. Would have been better on the back of the machine.

I just dread everything failing at the same time. The fridge/freezer is 10 and half years old and was a display model. The chest freezer is about 8/9 yrs old, the washing machine is about 9 yrs old and my combi boiler is 10 yrs old. But the last people I got in about my boiler reckon if I am lucky I might be able to get up to another 5 years out of :T. I might not even be here.

Might have found my knight in shinning armor :rotfl:or have moved by then. But for the time being everthing needs to be eked out.

Wish me luck car as MOT tomorrow!!!! if it fails I will be in a grumpy mood LOL!!!!

Good luck with the MOT! Hope it passes with flying colours and you're not left out of pocket!

I'm trying to plan my evenings tv viewing, for now its Pointless, followed by some benefits programme, followed by Don't Tell The Bride, rounded up with some 24. I have 6 days in work after today so making the most of tv whilst i can! I rarely watch it otherwise, generally i tend to sleep until its time to get up for work, go to work come home and by that point there's naff all on telly so its a bit of netflix or catch up, then sleep..and repeat! Life is sooooo exciting :p On the plus side work means i get out of the house and see people (even when im not feeling socialble i think it helps) and even better i get paid for it. It does make me chuckle when i'm doing the easy jobs and i'm thinking i'm actually being paid to do this! That probably sounds odd but after so many years being unable to work its a nice feeling being paid for doing stuff.

No it does not. One job I hate is cleaning and washing up.

But I use to bung the bleach down the loos at work and clean the sinks. Then do the washing up that other people should have done themselves and cleaned and kitchen sink.

But I was getting paid for it so did LOL!!!
