I love fossils, SDW! My teacher friend gave me a huge fish that is millions of years old. I adore him and pat him regularly.

Sorry about the house troubles Katy, I second pointing out to the letting agents that you need that room for escapee. It's ridiculous that they haven't fixed it.

Aw, hugs code, annoying start to the day! I feel as you do about your phone about my laptop. Everything is on here. I don't back it up half as often as I should and it's going to come bite me one day.

Oh oh, and funny occurrence! WaSp got trapped in his blanket. He is having back problems right now so is sleeping on the floor. I heard a frantic scrambling, turned on the light, looked over the side of the bed and there was WaSp frantically struggling to get out of his blanket which he had wrapped around himself tightly like a sausage roll. He was laying on the edge so couldn't get out of it at all. What's worse was he was desperate for a wee which was getting worse by the second. I helped by bursting out laughing and continuing to do so on and off for the next hour (I am still laughing).

Moo - I think that email from mr sillybuckets was a good response - certainly a lot more polite, even if they are chaffing a bit. I would not send them any more emails - wait and see if the idiot officer responds this week re the bungalow as stated. Good skills me girl on managing all this and still managing to secure your formal interview - gonna have to dust that suit down now!

JB - yes - totally - fort snacks are healthy!!! **Grinning and runs away with mouthfuls of cheese puffs**


Katy - have pm'd about the "leak" - that's not a leak!!!! Admittedly it is not the house falling down, but you are right to be concerned and annoyed that the landlord has not attended to the problem sooner. Also - the longer he leaves it the worse it may get and the more money it will cost him to fix.

no sleep yet, just lots of coffee and an amazingly productive day in fact. Just have to stay awake for 2 more hours then hubby will be out to pub quiz and I can pass out

But if it makes you feel any better I have lost my sewing tubs - these are 2 great big green plastic tubs (60cm x 90cm x 80cms) full of material etc. I am like............ok.............. where have they gone.......it's like suddenly losing am armchair - impossible to miss... totally scratching my head on this one!!


and after all the chat about lovely sea creatures I saw a red bath puff thingy (you know the doofers I mean!) with the cutest little red octopus on the top - 49p - bought it for my hubby so he will stop using mine - but I thought of you all when I saw them.

I'm avoiding joining in the conversation about sea creatures, they freak me out! I can just about cope with goldfish but anything bigger than that is just not right! I don't even eat fish, they look like aliens!
