Calley where is your long chopper going to be from? I want one! Bearded one will kill me as I am quite accident prone, but our trees look awful where I have stood on a chair hacking away with loppers.
Aldi special buy on thursday £59.99
Flybaby someone to help with what I call grunt work would be perfect LOL!!!I have soil to bag and get rid of.
Well Katy I know of two people and one is my dad who won't lend me there drill as they don't think I am safe with one. The other person my ex said he would have felt guilty if I had hurt myself while using it LOL!!!!!
How do the pair of them think that I have managed since my husband has had a stroke, Pair of planks if you ask me.
Sorry guys no run tonight. I went out but my back was not having it. Not sure if it was because I did not have my running shoes with the gel inserts or not.
Yours

Pyx - replanted it? should I have done that? I tis in the full sun spot in the garden and is well watered but I just plonked the pot in the garden.
Ugh - ignore the men!!!!!! their old fashioned opinions about women using power tools are infuriating. Pick one up, read up about it and have a go.
Katy - I am the most accident prone person in the world as I am forever bashing into things or falling over or bumping myself, but in my entire lifetime I have never had an accident with a tool, vehicle, machine, never. You tend to concentrate much harder when using such things as they can be dangerous and thus, I am sure you would be safe.
I have industrial grade drills, saws and routers etc as I use them a lot and I like the precision and reliability, but even the DIY shop ones are pretty good these days. Can't wait to get a free day with enthusiasm so I can have play and practice with my new planer!

Can't sleep Flybaby? I had a nap and have woken up at silly o'clock! Having a cup of tea and then I will see if I can nod off again.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Can't sleep and raging that the landlord still hasn't fixed the damage from the leak in our spare room/soon to be nursery.
It has been weeks and we can't use the room as we don't know if it is safe.
Spoke to the letting agent yesterday who said they can't do anything until the leak is fixed, but it has been fixed weeks and it is on their system it has been fixed.
We pay for a two bedroom property but have only been able to use one room for a couple of months at least now.
Grrrrr!
And we keep seeing rats in the back yard.0 -
Flybaby, it depends how big the pot is! I have a Passion flower in a pot, but the pot is nearly 24" diameter and high!
If it's still in its little pot, it will need to be replanted into either the earth or a really big pot. A small pot will dry out really quickly.(I just lurve spiders!)

**bleary eyed and putting the fort coffee pot on with lotus caramelised biscuits this morning if anyone wants**
EDT: aha - thanks pyx - will get it into a bigger pot today!
Katy - do you have a dehumidifier in the room? That might be the first step to draw out any remaining water in the walls/structure. That would need to be in there for a while depending on how big the leak was? So I would say it is fair to chase them and say look, at least can you get a dehumidifier in for a week or two now to dry the place out so that we can at least slap a coat of paint on - do they know it could be holding a baby in a few weeks?0 -

Surely that meaning......and I had to google it.........is just a variation/mispronunciation of gagging?
ie. catting for a fag..........gagging for a fag
Or is there yet another meaning?
Edit. Yup! There is! Groan!
It means to hunt around for any available sexual partners, like a tomcat.
Sigh of exasperation!
Have another try, 7DW!
At least we're getting ejukated!
Oh well, if the catting is successful, I can go dogging.
Right! I shall be cat-sitting and dog-sitting instead.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

yeah - bad bad night for me.........went to bed about 10.30, was up by 1am, dozed off about 6am but alarm went off at 7am as I am expecting delivery of sand this morning..............**sigh**..........this is why I am not working at the moment! Hopefully, fingers crossed, the doctor I see this week will be able to re-refer me to the sleep people again. Was referred to sleep people once before via old surgery but they were so unhelpful and it put me off trying again. But hey ho - my hubby has bought some illy coffee beans as a treat for me at the moment so I shall down a few of those and then I am off to play in my temporary sand pit (laying the base for the patio/path we are laying this weekend)0
