Don't panic too much, Melly. MS consultants do deal with other things and MS itself, although hard is manageable. Are you going to have a chat with him about what it could mean for your health? Big hugs.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I think that the worry is the fact my left side is still weak which might be where they are coming from who knows.
I dont know a fat lot about MS so just had a little flap.
Telling them all to leave me alone was the right move I think.
I have a more formal interview on Friday with the company I had an informal meeting with so need to get in the right frame of mind for that.0 -
And I meant to add before rude flapping set in
I also love spiders, all spiders are called Fred (tradition started with my dad no idea why), they get waved to and saved from dogs and cats.
Thank you for sharing that penguin both Code and WaS, it was interesting to get that take on it and also helps make it easy to understand why people may do stuff.0 -
Yes, have a days break from everyone, Melly so that you feel stronger for Friday.
Yay! Another person who loves spiders. I am very attached to Harold, Wasp keeps threatening to put him outside and gets glared at. He stays in his web and rarely ventures out around the house, he keeps the population of black flies down which seem to be everywhere here this summer.
Say Hi to Alan for me!
Those meditations were beautiful, LIR! Thank you so much, I shall be using them. Lovely to see you, too.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Here is a bit of an odd question. Does anyone know of any cheap face powder that works for very pale skin? I ordered some "naturally pale" and it looks orange on me! This is the problem with not being able to go into shops, I have to guess what will work. I need make up for ghosts...Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Sorry was, despite using lots of makeup I haven't used a traditional powder for sometime. The nearest suggestion I have is not cheap either. So I'm keeping quiet on this one....:o
I need to clear out some make up drawers actually of stuff I rarely use anymore, but the idea of binning it horrifies me. I love my makeup collection, if I had little girls I'd be letting them learn with my hand me downs....
sounds to me though that like me you have pink tones not yellow toned skin, and lots of things probably are like to look yellow on you, so look for things that are translucent not just fair, or will match your skin tone not just paleness. ( if you can stretch to mid price and could use a set powder you could use benefit dandelion powder lightly then build that for a very pale blusher too....)0 -
Yes, lots of things look yellow on me. LIR. Really I just need something to set foundation, because I have rosacea I have a lot of red patches on my cheeks that I need to cover up that otherwise stand out a mile on very pale skin. I could stretch to mid-price really, so I will check dandelion powder out. Where I don't go out I hardly use make up so it lasts me ages. I won't go out without it though due to the rosecea.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

This morning full of purpose I went out to cut the grass ( which has shot up in half a week, and found my resident parent had hung their washing out, stymying that activity) then went in to clean the bathroom ...nope, they were waiting to run a bath, then I thought I might mop floors, but I am not able to vacuum because of my condition so I asked if when they were able if they might vacuum for me, and was told to day was not convenient.
Sigh. Did some upstairs tidying and then later went down stairs to clean kitchen, and the first lot of laundry is folded in tiny little piles over EVERY surface. Washing I had done yesterday ( household stuff, like cleaning clothes, hand towels, kitchen towels, tea towels etc) is folded and REsParent denies they know where they live, so putting stuff like that away ( or washing it) is always left to me despite the fact we all benefit from its use. ( I use most cleaning clothes too, though in fairness I do not use most teatowels! )
I feel grumpy today. I'm living on a totally different schedule to the resident parent and its ME compromising in my home! but I remember when I was a kid they promised 'when you have your own house YOU can set the rules......"0 -
No wonder you feel grumpy! Lots of little but frustrating things to deal with! You are very patient to put up with that, I think I would be crawling up the walls.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Ok, this is a really big one, but next time you are asked what you want for a gift ask for healgel. Its a terrifying price ( 42 pounds for a little tube) but I cannot tell right now that I have facial rocacea ( it does do anything for occular rosacea obviously!). Combined with back to basics toiletries ( for me a combination of aveeno and avene, both mid price things available from boots) for cleansers and moisturisers, my skin has cleared incredibly.
I was finding that ALL my foundations were aggravating.. But the plus side is that my skin is now good enough to just use a BB cream, and look pretty damn amazing tbh
. I am using the Number seven one ( one of the least expensive make up products I've used, and yes, a fair product not a colour tone, but this one is working for me ok, all the others I tried high street were too dark or too yellow) because it has very high SPF.
Some days I just use avene SPF, but its incredibly hard to work in, and one looks like a French mime artist.0
