Hubby is out in the garden building me a planter which is lovely of him. Only the noise of the electric saw is really getting me on edge. I hate electrical noise! Need to pull myself together though as I am very grateful for his hard work.
My boobs are never the same size two days in a row at the moment. Given up wearing a bra unless I have to as it is so uncomfortable.
There is a breastfeeding support group on tomorrow I was thinking of popping along to, but don't know if it is a bit early yet. And I will likely chicken out anyway0 -
Go along to the support group, Katy, knowledge is power! You will certainly meet people in the same boat. It is so much easier when you carry littlun's lunch with you all the time, no need to worry about the shop being closed or whatever. And it makes use of the baby fat, just as nature intended. Feels very special, too, snuggled up with your little one feeding.Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0

I can't go with out a bra not a good look :rotfl:
Pop along I am sure they will give you a warm welcome. my stepdaughter expressed while her daughter was in hospital for 5 weeks. When she got home could not get her to latch on so is using special formula for premie babies now.
And don't forget that you are not a failure for nor breast feeding. What works for one does not always work for you.

Yes Katy, it's never too early to go! As Solarjunkie says, it's good to find out as much as poss and hear all the different views and experiences! It's like being in a very select club, too!Georgiegirl256 wrote: »I did not know this http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3184828/Are-wearing-earrings-wrong-Debate-studs-sweeps-Facebook-user-claims-taking-plastic-backs-OFF.html Is this true? If so, I've been wearing them wrong for years! :rotfl:
Well, I've never heard that! Nor do I think it's necessarily correct. Maybe it's an option.
Personally, I hate butterflies, although I do have a lot of earrings that have them. I much prefer wires. The butterflies of studs are so easy to drop and lose, and are uncomfortable compared with wires.
However, without the plastic, those stud backs would be tiny weeny. They're hard enough at times to put on anyway, trying to find the little hole with the stick through your earlobe. Without the plastic backing it'd be a nightmare!(I just lurve spiders!)

I agree Pyxis, much easier with the plastic on. I haven't worn earrings in years. Managed to get one earring in the other day, but on the other ear it only went in so far and I didn't want to force it.0

It will just be a plug of dead skin cells that has built up over time!
Try with a stud with a longish post and when you hit the plug, just gently twiddle it. You could try a smear of soap on the post, too.
That happened to me once, donkeys' years ago, and it took a few attempts before the plug came out.(I just lurve spiders!)

I would like to go as I need to get out the house and could do with making some mummy friends.
Worried about passing my shingles on though, even though I'm pretty sure I'm not contagious anymore, and would only be if you touched me. Just wouldn't forgive myself if anything happened to anyone.
I suspect I am just looking for an excuse!
I always left the plastic on my earnings as I didn't realise you could get it off! It does look daft on me though as my lobes are small so the plastic pokes out the sides0 -
I was trying to get a loop earring in, so like you say, need to try with a longer post one, see if that budges it.0

Katy, give your midwife a ring and ask her if it's ok. Is it definitely shingles?(I just lurve spiders!)
