Hubby has had hiccups for over half an hour now, and I want to strangle him!!
I'd like to think I would have been sympathetic, if it hadnt been bought on by beer!
  • Oooh, that is very true Solar! Thank you, that makes me feel a bit better! Of course, nothing is to stop me driving in reality so I am choosing not to. As silly as it sounds it was having the choice taken out of my hands that made me feel sad, as long as I think I have the choice (even if it would be illegal) I feel better! I know I am daft...

Hahahaha, would he like an anti-psychotic katy? Believe it or not another use for my specific brand of medication is that it is used to stop constant hiccups!

    I am a horrible person.

There is no other way of looking at it

When your lying there praying for a small child to break their legs this means your evil

Och.Was, I know what you mean. I can't drive on my meds either. Legally, there is no reason not to. But my reaction times are muchaving slower and I get dizzy, and I feel like I'd be a danger to myself and everyone else.

Katy - I'll see your husband with hiccups and raise you one watching a wrestling documentary who keeps poking me so I will watch footage I've already seen a million times.
As well as this, Autocarrot on my phone is doing my head in, DA dog isn't speaking to me because I accidentally stood on his paw and I can't stop beating myself up for every mistake I've ever made. Surely I shouldn't still be punishing myself for messing up my recorder performance in a school concert when I was 10? Am I the only one who obsesses over past events that are meaningless?

    Nope code I do it.

Just ordered boo some yumove cos it has good reviews, he bit me earlier cos I moved his back leg (JRTS are well known for not showing pain so can be hard to tell, noticed stiffness yesterday so wanted to check have a bruise on my leg for my troubles)

He said sorry alot and I am in now way blaming him I should have noticed earlier (he can't have the usual treatments for arthritis cos he has colitis) so back to I'm evil

    Autocarrot?! I love it!

Funny you should say about past events Code...
I had one of my funny feelings earlier that I can't identify, and wrote it down. It came on when I realised I had been using a word in the wrong context. I did wonder if the feeling was more of a memory and now I am beginning to think it might be the memory of how it felt to get in trouble for making a mistake.
So yes, maybe meaningless past events have an effect on me too.

WaS, I have an image now of your driving round whilst under a purple blanket with eyeholes cut out, looking slightly like Grimace from the old MacDonald's adverts!!

As long as you are only thinking about the child breaking its legs, and not actually helping the cause, I can't see that it makes you a bad person Melly. Especially with what you have been going through
  • Autocarrot. I am giggling.

I do that every night before sleep code. I beat myself up for things I failed at when I was in primary school. Annoying, isn't it?

WaSp has problems with his sinuses so he when it's bad he sniffs constantly and clears his throat. Drives me insane.

Aw, poor Boo. You weren't to know melly, don't blame yourself. Hopefully the new treatment will help him to feel better.

Hahahahaha! That made me laugh, katy! It's just as well I don't drive really, the sight of a blanket clad figure hunched over a steering wheel might cause a few crashes!

Froo let's you know if something hurts cos it gets extra attention. When we first got Boo he slipped his collar ran across the road and got hit by a car. Cue distraught melly,OH and dog bombing up to the vets.
He had a graze on his chin and a pad and the vet said he would need painkillers as JRTS don't show pain unlike chihuahuas because he would be stiff and sore.
Next day Boo was fine he's hard as nails so to bite tells me it hurts lots.

Nope still feel evil, it's not his fault, he's little and he's playing (and having some fantastic tantrums)
  • Awww, Boo is a brave little soldier! He must be in pain to bite, give him a gentle cuddle from me.

You really aren't evil, melly. Noise can wear you down so you have all kinds of thoughts you wouldn't normally have. I find it very hard to cope with noise so you have my total sympathy. Have a hug.
