Morning all :) Welcome to new people and hugs to those that need one.

I request a kick up the backside if someone would be so kind! It's my colour run today and it's meant to be fun, but I'm seriously not feeling it atm. I'm tired (not been sleeping too good), it's cold and as per usual for up here, it's raining. :(

They've got these Moky Fit dancers there to get you warmed up. Well, I don't do dancing, especially not in public! My uncle on the other hand....:rotfl: :o

It seemed like a good idea when he suggested it back in March! Currently necking down two coffees to try and wake me up. :D

Georgie, once you get out there, you'll wake up, and the hype will get you going and keep you going!

Instead of dancing, you can just jig about a bit, run on the spot! On the other hand, in the middle of a crowd, who's going to see you! I'm sure there'll be plenty of people looking very daft indeed! That's what adds to the fun!

Remember the other week when, uncharacteristically, I really didn't feel like going to Zumba? But I went, and was sooooo glad I did, because it cheered me up no end!

You'll be carried along by the crowds and the participators, and the bonhomie and togetherness will really lift you!

Afterwards, you'll feel great for the rest of the day!

The alternative, not going, will leave you feeling like you've failed in some way, and you'll remain sluggish all day!

So, get those running togs on, fill your water bottle and get out there!

    :T

PS. I'm doing an outdoor AmDram piece today, and like you I thought "oh hell", but now I'm washed and dressed, I know it'll give me a lift to give enjoyment (hopefully) to people, and it's a nice day!

    Go go go Georgie! :j

That pinstripe bustle skirt is lovely. I wish I had the figure for it.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

Martin Lewis posted this on his blog about mental health........

"For years we’ve been campaigning to end the stigma and treat mental health like any other financial issue, and our Mental Health and Debt Help booklet has thankfully been downloaded many times.

Recently I announced that next year I’ll be going part-time at MSE, and with the new freedom and the large charity fund I have, I want to set up a mental health and debt policy institute (I talk about it here in this Telegraph profile.) "

Gone 5 when got too sleep. 8 30 when woken up by jumping.

OHS apparently going to see the HA tomorrow in his stupid head he thinks he can achieve more than shelter MP and me.

Told him to go for it, not to come crying to me if it screws up what I have done or we get evicted, oh and if he really thinks this is appropriate bearing in mind yesterday's breakdown and my lack of sleep.

The word selfish may have been used I possibly screamed to ensure upstairs heard

Right have been thinking about my new tattoo, I have finally decided what I want (cos mermaids all look wrong) I am having seaweed wrapped around upper arm with a big seahorse and a little seahorse swimming in it.

    Meaning
Seahorses males carry and give birth to the young. Dad was in the navy and he instilled in me a great love of the ocean.

This type of seahorse that's a British native

ello - thread moves fast eh. Squishes to all who need.

faerie - you are not alone in hating the hospitals. I once freaked out so badly on a ward that the nurses ended up letting me sleep in the broom cupboard in order to get me to stay! I can't stand the noise, lights and feeling of vulnerability either. I wish you all the luck in the world for getting lovely nurses when you go in. xx

You lot talking about your respective others making noises made me laugh and smile so much - it's not just me! To say that my darling hubby drives me nuts with his various sniffing/snorting/noises is to put it mildly!
