They're both really nice! I particularly like the first one, the contrast between the mint and the pink is really pretty. You will not look like a walrus in either of them, or indeed any dress that you order.
This is the one I got for the wedding http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/dresses/cameo-rose-coral-stripe-skater-dress-_347746583 If I was really into my dresses, I would have possibly paid more, (it's enough to pay for a wedding I'm not even looking forward to!) but as it happens anyhow, I really like this one and it actually fits really well. Just noticed they've reduced it to a tenner now! :rotfl: I'll wear it with either a coral coloured blazer or a white one.
Eta: I also ordered this one http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/dresses/cameo-rose-yellow-floral-print-dress_356629389, and again, it suits me and I like it, but I still think I'll send it back, as the amount of times I'll ever wear a dress is very very small.0 -
They're both really pretty. I like the first one better but the skirt on the other dress is lovely too. You're lucky that you can get away with the high neckline. I love it and think it looks really classy but if I try to wear one I look like I have huge man shoulders and a bosom shelf.
Eta: maybe I should wear something I already have.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
I think the high neckline suits me better as being a B cup, I haven't got the big boobs needed to fill out all those lovely dresses that you've been looking at! I think my arms and shoulders are probably one of my best features, but I need something more flared out at the bottom to cover my stomach and big backside! :rotfl:
I agree, I also like the skirt (the net) on the second dress better too! Could you wear a net underskirt underneath the first one?
Eta: I also bought this off eBay for a tenner http://int.debenhams.com/ar/product/petite-blue-poppy-printed-prom-dress/018010698291/
because A, I love the print and the stripey bit at the bottom, and B, I love the net underneath.0 -
Heh. I was talking about the skirts on your dresses.
I do have a couple of petticoats so that's not a problem.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I thought you were, then I thought you were talking about yoursI think tiredness is taking over again now, it's been a long day, time for bed I think!
It's a shame your green dress is out of stock, as it's a really stunning colour. Hopefully you might be able to get one before, keep on scouring eBay etc.0 -

Faerielight, have you anyone that can help you when you come out of hospital?
Code, was it you posted a pic or a link of a yellow dress or one with spots? I've been back several pages but can't find a pic. The one you're going to treat yourself to when you reach your target.
Anyway, I thought that was gorgeous.
Edit....it was this one!
Why not make a wedding outfit out of this one?(I just lurve spiders!)

Love the Hello Kitty hat! I've been looking at cabochons for my crafting (because they're so cute!) and there are loads of Hello Kitty bits to get to stick on pretty much anything that stands still! They make me think of MU too, hope all is OK
Well done on doing the colour run Georgie! Sounds good fun, but hard work!
Melly - I like the sound of that tattoo! I've been working up the courage for years to get one done.I only want a little one but I want quite a lot in it! I love disney so want a hidden Mickey tat, maybe like this?
That's pretty scary stuff Code, hope you're feeling OK! I love the 'Mint Green' dress you linked too, so pretty! Quite Cath Kidston-esque.
How about this dress?
As an aside, I wish I could wear something like this, alas I doubt my monster hips and thighs would allow itOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I love the mint green one Code!
You can get the petticoats on eBay cheaply, I bought one to go under my wedding dress.
I really need a poke to get me out of bed today. Got no motivation at all. Was trying to get signed up to donate babies umbilical cord blood cells but our hospital don't do it so I am all disappointed and now sulking.
Hubby has given me a couple of little jobs to do to keep me busy, but I know it won't take long so still not enough motivation to get me out of bed.0
