What on earth are virus toys? I feel like I am missing something I might quite like!
I assume something like this

I am sure a charity shop would love them, Georgie! Especially the MRSA bug, I have lots of other virus toys but not that one and they are quite expensive! If you did want to throw one my way I wouldn't complain and would pay the postage but don't feel you have to! Just don't ask me to choose because that means leaving the others out and rejecting them...
I need to come off of this high dose of medication, my brain has melted. One more day to go!
I thought I'd read that you collected them! I'd love you to have it! I've got some envelopes already stamped up (did this thing for the Royal Mail) so no postage to pay! Just PM me with where to send it.
That's right! I have this one http://www.giantmicrobes.com/uk/products/mrsa.html0 -
Awww, thank you Georgie! I promise any toy has a good home with me and is loved and cuddled (I know, I am sad). I am stupidly excited now!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

They are amazing! How many do you have WaS?
Calley did you decide on your nails? Hubby did my toe nails for me the other day as I can no longer reach. He did them alternate black and purple, looked a bit bruised!0 -
I have 7 so far but there are lots more! I ask for them for Christmas and birthdays. Algae is adorable because there are lots of them in a line but one is asleep! I love giant Microbes!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I think bump might be getting some! I already got a 'my first cthulu' cuddly and hubby bought a baby Iron Man, so we are definitely not going down the conventional toy route!0

Purple. But I am not very good at it. Just smudge a few fingers so had to take it off and start again.

Awww, how adorable, Katy! Bump might like the white mouse, it is so cute. Some of them have sewn eyes rather than googly eyes so should be ok for a little one. Some are also just soft round balls.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Our colour run was 5K. It was great fun. There were bottlenecks at the paint stations (where the sponsoring companies had their stands and their colour powder paint). They did a good job of chucking the powder.
Our event could have sold a lot extra of the powder paint. They had small packs for sale beforehand but they ran out. Littlewing had 2 packs that I bought her to join in with the paint party at the end (she was too young to join the run). But she was so excited while the event was on that she couldn't wait.
A lot of participants took the race part very seriously. I got lapped. I was surprised and a little bit gutted about the fact that I was nearly last. (I did walk but even so I thought I was fairly focused, but the other obese people seemed quite fit from their dog walking).
The children that took part had a wonderful time in a very safe environment and hared on away from their parents.
MIL has told me that she is doing it next year with me. I think I'd enjoy it more next year - I like to know what to expect.
I also spent another tenner on extra's that they were selling, like tutu's and so on. Littlewing has played for hours with them.
I was laughing when I was on the treadmill at home afterwards as I half expected Littlewing to chuck paint at me then.
I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't let myself get so overweight. (But that is just me waking up to myself). What I find most gutting about the weight is that I can almost remember on the last couple of years not minding about piling on extra weight quickly as at some point I'd sort it out. (Plus of course all these magnificent weight loss articles in the paper - X lost 13 stone in two years). I think it is important to be mindful.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
