I raised £50 for the colour run, so I was pleased with that. When I phoned to make the payment, the lady sounded genuinely delighted at the amount so that made me feel chuffed.
I just watched the programme about autistic girls, and I slightly cried. I cried at OCD cleaners yesterday when it turned out that the posh chap's older brother had been killed.
I am forcing myself to do my exercise.
My throat is sore when I swallow. My period has come on very early - probably for the first time in my life that it is early, and it seems bizarre as I am on the coil.
There is a lot of external hassle going on for extended family.
I have taken part in some autism research questionnaires lately for a different university.
I also had the DNA collecting kit come through today for more autism research.
I am struggling to know if I feel low because it would be natural to feel low, or if I am causing myself to spiral.
DH went to bed partway through the programme. He wants me to take one of my antidepressants tonight. He says he is noticing some changes.
(I have been completely off them for a number of weeks - the planned decline actually went cold turkey without problems). I am worried about taking them - one - in case they make me feel sick.
I am also staying up later so tiredness is having an impact.
(I am still a huge amount better than I have ever been. Just noticing the worthless thoughts drifting in and getting more frequent).
I have been enjoying the thread and sending silent welcomes to the newbies, even though I haven't been posting. I have had plenty to stay but when it comes to actually posting I have lost interest. I was interested in the programme about selective mutism. I had problems as a teenager when I got to the point that I could only talk if someone asked me a question and initiated the conversation. I sort of wonder if I have started to get selective textism.
I am a bit dwelling on the fact that I get absolutely no buzz out of interacting with other people. Intellectually, I find it quite sad. It's a family occasion coming up and DH has been speaking to his mum about a get together. They have suggested a date and DH said, it will just be family. Now, it was said reassuringly as though I may not go if otherwise. MIL is very sociable and quite often has friends to BBQ. I'd quite happily sit and watch the world go by, but I have no urge to speak. And I think the friends are finding it slightly odd, especially the friends who are foreign and who would probably like the opportunity to practise their language. But even then, I don't actually care enough to make the effort, although I like to think that I am friendly enough.
Lol, I should probably stop thinking........:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Well done on raising the £50 pounds! sorry you are feeling low,did your doctor suggest you came off the anti d's? you could be feeling low because because is your time of the month or maybe you came off the ant d's too early if your dh has noticed a difference.I would not have thought just taking one tablet would make a difference as they take a while to get in your system. If your mood does not improve I would suggest you see your gp0 -
Morning My Lovelies,
I know its early.
Ohh forget to say I did not get the job. Someone else had more product knowledge.
But they want to keep my details on file as he liked me :rotfl:

The regular repost...The thread etiquette will be reposted every ten or so pages.
........:starmod:......................................................................:starmod:.....................
Here is the suggested THREAD ETIQUETTE. By following this etiquette, all posters, whether new or existing, will feel safe, unpressured and respected..
- This is a thread for support. We have discovered some good friends on here, but we promise always to welcome and include new people, and not to be cliquey.
- People may make suggestions to help each other, and might even ask if the suggestions were helpful or have been carried out, but we'll really try not to nag each other or put too much pressure on.
- The normal board rules about sexism, racism, homophobia etc. apply, but if we are careful we should be able to discuss almost anything without breaching board rules - so far we have discussed subjects ranging from child abuse to incontinence!
-If someone thinks that too much pressure is being applied, they can post the trigger word PENGUIN and flag up the fact that they believe there's a potential for someone feeling too nagged to do something. ANYONE could post PENGUIN if they felt there was a danger that suggestions were being enforced too much.
Similarly, if they want to discuss something that might be a trigger for some people, then posting PENGUIN would be a warning that what follows in the whiteout might be a trigger.
- So, if you think something might be a PENGUIN, please post something like the green bit which follows.
"Possible penguin about....." , then name the possible trigger. It might be child abuse, marital abuse/violence, paranoia, stalkers, death, etc.
Then, when you post, repost the word PENGUIN above the discussion. Then post the penguiny bit in white! And the phrase END OF PENGUIN when you have finished.
It will look like this. You will be able to see the white text if you highlight it or if you quote it, (so please don't 'quote' a post containing a penguin onto the thread!)
(Harmless example follows here):-
PENGUIN
This is a penguin. A nasty, crotch biting penguin (CBP).
It isn't really! So you can look.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozGTv0hxhpc[/url]
END OF PENGUIN
(NB on a tenth-page repost of the etiquette, you can see these penguiny words because they are white against the green 'quote' background. On a normal post, they will be white against white, and so won't be seen on the thread.)
IMPORTANT: It has been ascertained that some posters to this thread have found that there are certain subjects which act as triggers, precipitating a worsening of their condition.
To protect these posters, you are respectfully requested NOT to discuss these subjects on this thread:-
Religion. (Please note: it is recognised that everyone is entitled to their beliefs, and we respect those beliefs. It is only because of the fact that religion does act as a trigger for some posters, that we exclude it from discussion.)
N.B. Please don't even mention the name of the religion.
The afterlife. The reason for this is explained in this thread by one poster, and there will be others for whom this is a trigger.
We ask and thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
.........:starmod:.....................................................................:starmod:................
!!!******It should be pointed out that if anyone is feeling very distressed or close to a crisis, they do not have to worry about what they are posting, or whether it is a penguin for someone else or not. In a crisis situation, just post! We wouldn't want anyone to feel that they couldn't ask for help in case it's a penguin! The penguin thing only applies to a general discussion situation.******
- More suggestions please.............We stress that we are suggesting that we AGREE some Thread Etiquette to HELP people who might feel anxious about posting, we are not trying to IMPOSE rules, just relating this to facilitating groups, so that people feel safe and able to participate as fully as they can.
...............Thread Motto...............

Going to see the doctor today though. Bit nervous, as I have to discuss my implant and try to persuade them to give me an IUS back...

£50 is a lot whitewing! Hubby is raising sponsorship at the moment and is struggling to get past £17 so you have done very well!
Well done Calley, it shows you are good at interviews, so the next one should be a doddle
Morning Flybaby, work did not quite go according to plan and neither did the health visitor visit, so I went in to hibernation yesterday to forget about it!
Had spent ages training Little Sod to go in his box when visitors come, and usually he is fine. However, when the health visitor came he decided to bark, throw himself at the bars etc and generally look scary. She kept asking how he would be with baby and I tried to assure her he would be fine. We decided to let him out in the hope he would calm and she would see he is actually quite nice... So he tried to steal her handbag and wiped snot all over her leg. Other than that the visit went well
Work was silly busy, so I didn't get a break at all. When my boss came in I gave him my note and told him I will not be working a shift like that again. He said I could sit in the cooler room in the back doing odd jobs for my shifts, but he wouldn't get cover in to help the others out, so that is not a practical solution. He then said I needed to decide if I was in the business to work, or just sit around! I told him I would happily work, just not put me or baby at risk, and if he couldn't reduce the risks I wouldn't be working. He said I had to work as he couldn't get cover for me and he couldn't mentally or physically cope with covering my shifts... We have agreed another meeting on Friday to discuss options.
I feel awful getting cross at him saying he couldn't cover me as he couldn't cope, as maybe he has issues which genuinely mean he couldn't cope. But if that is the case he should show more sympathy for others who are struggling!
Sneezed and wet myself this morning, oh its going to be a good day!!
Got the day off today so planning to do a few bits around the house. Hope everyone else has a good day0 -
Well done, Calley! Every interview is an experience, so onward and upward! Maybe there'll be an even better option around the corner!
Katy....good on you for standing up to him! As you say, if he can't cope, how is he expecting you to?
If he genuinely can't get cover, he will have to accept lower productivity and that's that! You can't expect one horse to pull a load that only two horses can pull!
As for Little Sod, he hasn't been PMing Gitdog has he, and learning the "Gitdog Method of Treating Visitors"?
(Elsien, I love Gitdog really!)

jade helm 15 anyone heard about this?
Penguin
Its linked to the info they have been collecting on us all for years. Apparently it removes all responsibility from humans meaning there will be no more war crime trials.
Is very very scary
