Not much to tell. Started chatting this afternoon and he asked me to come and have cup of tea with him this afternoon.

And then I said I was busy. And he said how about in the week. So I said I will try and meet him for a drink during the week!!!

Not sure if its a good idea with my mental state. But a boost and if nothing else I gone out for an evening and meet someone.

Make sure you're safe. Tell someone where you're going and when you expect to be home. And that you'll ring them when you get in.

I will do and it will be in public.

I normally get my husband to ring me about 15-20 mins after the meet time :rotfl: so I use that as an excuse to get away if its not going well.

Yay for a date, Calley! It doesn't have to mean anything serious, just have fun (hopefully!)

I still wear make up, not anywhere near as much as I used to as a goth but I have always used it to make me feel safe so that I can hide behind it. I feel less exposed with make up on.

Don't mention plants! I think this tiny flat is turning into a greenhouse! My bromeliads are huge now, all 5 babies need to be repotted soon. One of our cacti has had two babies and the another has grown right out of its pot. For some reason I have always been really good with plants, I would love a garden. I seem to counteract WaSp who has a black thumb, I keep telling him its because I tell them that they're pretty. We have cleared one and half window ledges for when we repot the babies, me being me I can't get rid of them, I'm attached! When these have babies though I have a real problem...

I know that. just not sure if its too soon after my ex who I still have feelings for.

Exactly, Calley! It doesn't mean you have to commit, just see it as a trip out with a new friend. Even if you aren't ready to date anyone this could turn into a good friendship and you can't have enough of those! I made several friends through one off dates before I met Wasp, one of which turned into a very close friendship and resulted in us both crying on each others shoulder about other dates that went wrong for us!

In fact, WaSp was my closest friend for 6 months before we got together. We had slept together once after both being drunk but neither of us thought anything of it. We spent a lot of those 6 months whining to each other about how hard it was to find someone serious, while all of our joint friends shook their heads and wondered why on earth we weren't dating! We would never have got together when the time was right if we didn't form a friendship first though!

Love those flowers Melly! I love the contrast of the bright flowers and the dark leaves, very striking! Hope you haven't over done things, try and gave a nice relaxing evening if possible.

Gonna lie on couch with grinch and fatty.

Got a really easy tea is beef madras (homemade) from freezer ready made nan bread, and mccains beef dripping chips.

Having a sleep before I reheat stuff. If nothing else it's really brought home how week my left arm is.
