I don't have a TV and never watch soaps.
It was when I caught myself watching eastenders that I went !!!!!!. And got rid of the TV that was about 13 yrs ago.

I haven't watched Eastenders for years, just Emmerdale and Corrie. I couldn't do without a tv though, but I can see why some people might not want to have one.
I forgot that was on elsien. I'll have to get it on catch up TV sometime.0 -
ME TOO!!!! (Sorry Katy!)
I would love to agree to doing the gutters together - but the only reason I haven't done it myself is that I may have accidently, slightly overestimated the height of my house when purchasing a ladder a few years ago and bought us an industrial sized one instead - which is great....... except that I actually can't lift it on my own. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............ thinking about it - if the weather is good on Saturday, I will have the kafluffle with hubby and get him to help me lift it ( he no like heights and me swinging merrily from the roof slighty freaks him out - so a kafluffle has to be had first before he agrees) Just got a quote of £200 to clean and fix gutters......errrr..........hell no.............I'd rather waste a day rigging up a rope and pully system to manouvere my ladder of doom into position! drip, drip, soddin drip drippetty drip.......**strops off into the blanky fort with the leftover pavlova for anyone who wants it**
p.s. I have made it up to hubby by producing a raspberry pavlova to wash away the burnt/salty taste of his main course.0 -
From a gardening perspective I'm looking at it thinking it doesn't look very practical to use and maintain, but then again I think that about most of the garden design programmes I've seen. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

As soon as my husband moved out he got one :rotfl:
There are the catch up players and I have netflix sub. Umming about Amazon prime as its £59 until midnight.
I use to listen to the radio a lot. Have dab and listened to radio 4 extra. It was all the old stuff like steptoe and son etc. But as I have listened to it for so long. I gave it up as I had probably heard everything a at least a dozen times. And was bored of it.

I quite like that Love your garden one with Alan Tichmarsh. Wouldn't have a clue how to look after all those plants though....they put loads in!Umming about Amazon prime as its £59 until midnight.
theres just been an advert on about Prime. Apparently for subscribers, there's going to be offers that are better than Black Friday offers soon.0 -
Mine would probably be fixable myself if I didn't get vertigo as soon as I go two steps up a ladder. It being a three storey house really doesn't help. I may throw myself on the mercy of a helpful neighbour if I can catch him when he's not busy. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Why don't you just use the free apps for iPlayer, Itv catchup and channel 4etc?

Awww........ will come and do everyones gutters if you will help me manhandle the ladder (Altho I would love a go in Calleys Dads teleporter - sounds like he has a cherry picker to me and I'd love a go! Inspect them all the time at work but never allowed to actually operate one as I don't have the ticket and it would be entirely wrong of me as a professional to have naughty secret goes on fun big boys toys............ahem. cough. **I miss work**)0
