    still feeling low today.

Think its due to lots of different things. Its my TOTM. Normally does not effect me but think it has today. I keep feeling sick and I got very little sleep.

All combined to make me a very tearful today.

Oh and after speaking to husband today looks like he has found a girlfriend. He beat me to it. That makes me feel a lot better not!!! And I don't mean that in horrible way. As I am of course happy for him. And would mean in time I would withdraw slightly.

And like I don't spend enough time on my own!!!! Being grumpy as tired I know.

saw a job in the paper for 2-3 afternoons a week local doing office work and answering the phone. Might apply and see what happens.

At least it will tied me over until I feel well enough to go back full time. And any money is better than nowt I suppose.

    Yours

    Calley
That part-time job sounds like just what you need, Calley! Go for it!

I still can't get used to this cheek-kissing-as-greeting thing here :/ (well I quite like it when the nice-looking long-haired chap does it - however I'm nearly old enough to be his mum!)

    HBS x

I absolutely hate that!! (Wouldn't mind it if a nice looking long haired chap did it though ;) ) BIL girlfriend who I can't stand does that, and in turn the two nieces have started to do it too. I've tried the "oh, stay away, I've got a cold" line, but that didn't work. I mean, if you have to have a physical greeting, what's wrong with a good old fashioned hug?

Big hugs Calley :( Your husband getting a new girlfriend is understandably a really hard thing to have to deal with. Definitely go for that job though, it sounds like a perfect starter back into work. Even if you didn't get it, it's still all experience for interviews etc.

Pyxis, that cartoon is awesome! Poor cat! :rotfl:

D is taking his Mam shopping tomorrow for an outfit for the nieces wedding, and wants me to go because "she'd value your opinion more than mine", I really can't be bothered as he's wanting to go to the metro centre and that means being stuck inside a boiling hot car for 4 hours and then walking round a shopping centre all day....that novelty has passed on by for me now, I much prefer to internet shop.

    Talking of the wedding....

1, We're not even that bothered about going to the wedding as D isn't that close with his brothers or nieces, and only sees them once a year if that.

2, Afore mentioned BIL girlfriend will be there, and she's a patronising moo, I feel like because I'm quite abit younger than her and look younger than my age, she talks to me like a child and looks down on me. I'm not the only one who's not keen on her, and she makes me feel uncomfortable being around her.

3, I haven't seen the brothers or their partners or nieces for well over 2 years, maybe longer, and I feel like they're all going to judge me as I've put on about 2 stone since they last saw me, and I just feel like they'll say "blimey, she's let herself go!" :rotfl:

4, We blooming hate weddings! :rotfl:

    5, yes, I am a grinch today! :p

Colin posted it on another thread, and it really made me laugh!

I've emailed it to several friends already!
One replied to say that when she was a Community Mental Health Social Support Assistant, (phew! what a long title!), she regularly visited a lady who was just like this, (though she did not sparkle!), and one day had the misfortune to experience this cat's position.

But as she said, all in a day's work! :rotfl:

Not having the best of days and can feel a bit of a spiral starting. Haven't got the energy to think it through so looking for a distraction.

What is the weirdest dream you remember?

The most recent one I had was where East 17 were visiting my house and I started going in to labour. Brian Harvey helped deliver the baby (he was pretty good!). After I had the baby I had to go out and buy nappies as we didn't have any in, so the boys (we were familiar by then so I could call them 'the boys'!) babysat.
As I was walking to the shop there was a big snake on the path. Someone had told me that snakes wont strike you if they can't see you, so I took off the cap I was wearing and tried to toss it on to the snakes head but missed. The snake jumped up and grabbed my eyeball and slithered off with it. Turns out my eyeball was a satsuma.

    I woke up rather confused!!

You just did! :p :rotfl: :D

My cats quick with his claws and not afraid to use them! A nasty accident could quickly ensue if I dared to do that....imagine explaining that one to A&E!

    Thanks for the giggle! :rotfl:

I'm sorry for laughing Katy, but that is one of the most hilarious dreams I've ever heard of!! :rotfl: Hope it wasn't too disturbing for you though.

What with Pyxis and her pu$$y pictures! and you and your weird dream, its proper made me laugh! :rotfl: Especially like the bit about how the snake jumped up and ran off with your eyeball/satsuma! Every time you see that new Three advert with the furry muppets, you'll probably think of your dream now!

Off to make some nig nogs now....blanked it out incase the word offended anyone, but it's not meant to be an offensive word, honest! :o

That's even worse! Try to hug me and I either go stiff as a board or back off making the vampire sign of the Cross at whoever is trying to inflict themselves on me. Partners, fine, anyone else, keep your distance. Including family. No idea why, it's just how I feel.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I don't do physical contact either.
The MIL always hugs and kisses me when we meet and leave, and I am just about getting used to it although I still haven't quite worked out what I am supposed to do with my arms etc!
Hubby always laughs that my parents don't do physical contact, and so to really freak them out when we leave he gives my mum a hug and shakes my dads hand! They then turn to me to see if they are supposed to hug me too, so I either go in for a hug if I am feeling particularly evil, or just bolt out the door!
