I know.
I am on a chat website and everyone is either not around or not talking.
Just makes me feel lonely at the moment. I might go for another walk after I have had some tea.

Birthdays are over rated . Although if you want something to look forward to you could always book yourself something nice that day - I either head for the seaside or take myself off for a massage. Give yourself a bit of time to get used to the idea of things changing, and try not to be too hard on yourself. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

About four years ago, I decided not to have a birthday any more, as it was too painful. The one friend that still insists on giving me a card will get short shrift from me this year. (I have told her why, but she sends me a non-birthday card instead! Derr!)
It makes it a lot easier to just ignore it.
Very sad, I know, but it's how I deal with it.
Most years, I've managed to be on holiday when it falls. This year will be one of those!
New friends never get told when it is, just in case!(I just lurve spiders!)

try not to be too hard on yourself.
Thats the problem. I am own harshest critic.
I don't like myself and not sure I ever have done.

I am middle child. My eldest brother is a gobby git who take no truck from anyone. my younger brother is nice and even on the parish council.
My dad will talk to anyone and not be fussed or plussed by anyone nor most things. My mum is quieter and more reserved.
Me well I am don't like to drawn attention to myself. I don't think I anything to look at. I am fat. And just generally don't believe that I am nice person. I don't like arguments and run away from them and responsibility. Think and put others before me, which in the end just gets me hurt. I am nervous and shy.

Interesting! I am a middle child too!
Is there a theme here?
I know that middle children tend to be the peace-makers, the arbitrators, and as such are often not recognised for their worth.(I just lurve spiders!)

Well I have managed a couple of times to rub people up the wrong way. I used to work with someone who really did not like me.
And I have no idea why.
But hey ho!!!!

Well sent my cv off for the job.
And we shall see. Will be a stepping stone to getting back to who I was.
I think I might go to bed in a min. Been a crappy day and I am feeling tired.
