Your husband getting a new girlfriend is understandably a really hard thing to have to deal with. Definitely go for that job though, it sounds like a perfect starter back into work. Even if you didn't get it, it's still all experience for interviews etc.
I am happy for him as I know that he never thought he would meet someone again being disabled.
But I guess I thought I would be with someone as welland of course it changes our relationship. As I of course don't want to tread on anyones toes.
Just woken up and feel crappy LOL!!!

Off to make some ........now....blanked it out incase the word offended anyone, but it's not meant to be an offensive word, honest!
Nog is not an offensive word on its own. I assume it's a type of biscuit/cake? But it's also an alcoholic drink made with egg, and a wooden block or peg. It's also the first name of a Ferengi in Start Trek, and of course the much-loved Norseman, Noggin the Nog.
I suppose used with the first word it may give offence. Are they made with chocolate? If so, there is a connection, I suppose.
I've not come across them, though.
Edit. Just googled them , no chocolate, only syrup!
That's even worse! Try to hug me and I either go stiff as a board or back off making the vampire sign of the Cross at whoever is trying to inflict themselves on me. Partners, fine, anyone else, keep your distance. Including family. No idea why, it's just how I feel.
Are virtual hugs ((((((())))))) ok?(I just lurve spiders!)

I know what you mean, as I hate 'space invaders' too. If it has to be anything (although, I'm like you, in that a simple hello greeting would be adequate) I'd prefer a hug rather than a pretentious cheek/air kiss thing! :eek:0 -

Nog isn't offensive on it's own, but I know some people are abit like  when they hear the name of the biscuits!
Mmmmm golden syrup is soooo yummy! I could just sit there with a spoon and eat it straight from the tin!0 -
Looks like I have found a supply for the gravel I need for my back garden.
I was looking at national companies and looked at one and I thought cheap only £39.99 for a dumpy bag but they wanted £25 for delivery  making a total of £64.99!!
Anyway did a quick google as I live next door to an little industrial estate. And found a local company that can provided the same sort stuff for £49.80 and as they are local they said they could delivery at short notice if needed.
I used the companies quick quote service on there website and had a reply in less than 5 mins with a price!!!! I checked it was in stock and could I use a credit card and they said yes to both. And I just told them how fab I thought they where and I would be using them when I needed the goods in a few weeks.
Its raining here and has been since this morning. Good for the plants. But its not really filling up my waterbutt LOL!!!

I quite like Nutella, but couldn't eat a lot of it. We used to get it all the time, in the little packs with bread sticks whilst waiting for the bus after school!mellymoo74 wrote: »just ordered OH some mead, he was saying he loved it when we were in cornwall and we were drinking it so.......

Does he know he's getting it? If not, it'll be a lovely surprise for him!My Dad brought some back from Scotland once, but it leaked out all over his suitcase so I never got to try it, sounds lovely though!
