There are baby apples on the tree.
Trouble is the apples fall off in to the gutter under my bedroom window and attract wasps which get in to my room.
One thing I am terrified of more than jelly fish, is wasps!!
Not that jelly fish could get in to my room...
I hope!
Just prune the bits enough to stop the apples falling in to the gutter. And then do a bigger prune later in the year.
Well if it was me I would do a major prune now. But thats just me :rotfl:
I just go sod it and go for it.

Also another one on after which is about people with mental health issues getting support via an online forum. It says it's a unique experiment - not that unique! All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Also just watched the one about children/adolescents, it was heartbreaking knowing these kids are being sent so far away from home and their familiesThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Morning my Lovelies,
Just got back from a walk. Yes I do know that its not even 6am. bad nights sleep not sure if its from the heat or stress or worry. Think I got about 2 and half hrs:mad:
I must have fidgeted a lot as my back hurts this morning. And I feel sick and all I have had is water.
I am sweating like a pig already. I am sat in the garden typing this as its so hot in the house.
I am sure I can hear a lawn mower
Not sure what today brings. But I hope to get a small amount done in the garden. Suppose to be 19 today and rain. Well my water butt does need filling up again :rotfl: Tomorrow its suppose to be 26!!!!!
Anyway on wards and up wards
Yours

Well think someone better slap my wrists as I went up the ladder in to the cherry tree and got two more bits off I was desperate to get off.
Leaves one more. Think that will have to wait until the leaves fall off :rotfl:I might be able to see it then.
Any way showered and got a muzzy head. taken my meds this morning. A lot earlier than normal. Don't think that is a problem.
Back in the house and got the fan on. Its dulling over so it might rain.

Thanks for the advice MU, unfortunately it is a very small business so no HR dept, and I am the manager! I have reported all my concerns to the owners on numerous occasions but still nothing gets done. I even booked someone to come and look at the electrics but the owners found out and cancelled it and I got in trouble for booking something that would have required payment.
I took photos today of all the faulty equipment and I think tomorrow I may have to do an anonymous report to health and safety. Unless anyone else has any other ideas? Trying to get anything fixed or changed in-house is not working so I feel like reporting it must be the next step.
Only problem is I am not planning on returning after maternity leave so would need a reference from them.
OH has just been rubbing the bump singing to it and ended up getting kicked in the face again!
Calley, when is the best time to prune an apple tree?
Katy, thats the best plan, get plenty of evidence. You will be protected as a whistle blower (still need to be careful though)0 -
VW camper vans.
, I have one, a T25 syncro. not converted to be an actual camper you van sleep in though. I mostly use it for moving big stuff when I need to and used to use it for towing..
When I drive it I find random people in other VW vans waving at me! Being polite, I always wave back.
People keep leaving notes under the wipers asking if I want to sell it! :eek:Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
Katy, don't worry about the reference, they can't give you a bad one just for reporting an unsafe working environment (even if they find out it's you). It all depends on the working practice of the company, my company just sends a line to say 'We can confirm that X worked here for Y number of years', doesn't matter if you were consistently employee of the month or constantly on the verge of being sacked!
Had a super rubbish afternoon at work yesterday and it's really affected me; I can't seem to get over it and muster any enthusiasm today. Wish it was the weekend already!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
