(though its probably going to be a bit of a sweaty hug :rotfl: random weird question...does anyone else get erm...boob sweat? like i seem to have a rash appearing..i was earing a sports bra though so they won;t have gotten much air)
Yes, it's 'prickly heat', caused by sweat glands.
I found using alcohol swabs helps it. Gin or vodka on a piece of cotton wool....kills any bacteria.(I just lurve spiders!)

yes, they'd work! You might smell a bit clinical, though!

feeling a bit tearful this evening.
Not sure why. Suppose because I have spent the last two days alone at home.
Spoken to people but not been out apart from to go to the shop to buy binge food. And last night to get fuel and fan.
Sat on recliner sofa with the fan blowing up my dress LOL!!!! so thats keeping me cool.
I won't take a sleeping stuff tonight to see if I can wake up and get up at a decent time. As I have not been out for a walk for number of days.
Feel lonely tonight. But need to get to use to it I suppose. As I don't think I will ever be able to have a relationship again. After my ex. I did and said stuff I can't believe. No one else made me feel that angry or annoyed. And I have no idea why and how he managed to do it. As we both liked each and when we saw each we got on!!!!
And it makes me very scared to try again incase it happens again.
I just feel so
Oh well. Tomorrow is another day!

I do have the lady issue too MU!
With having a massive baby bump and boobs hanging down to my knees it is all getting a little humid! I'm using talc to try and stop it getti g too bad but I have to wait for OH to get in from work so he can do the bits I can't get to!
Really need to put my foot down regarding some issues at work, but I am not assertive enough in the slightest. OH doesn't want me going back to work as he feels it is dangerous (chef got a shock off some faulty equipment today, and again a couple of weeks ago) and I agree with him, but we really need the money. I'm also losing holidays I am entitled to as they won't sort cover for me so I cannot take them.
I really need to grow a pair as once baby is here I will have to be able to stand up for them too.
Little Sod has been playing in his paddling pool outside. I decided to join him and sit with my feet in it, so he decided to duck under the water to chew my toes. Everywhere stinks of wet dog now!0 -

it can be very upsetting when you're feeling lonely, i've had periods where the only time i;ve talked to people for a week or two was people on forums, or that i;ve only spoken to people at work. It's quite isolating and not great for you (i mean yes we all need our own space now and then but too much isn't always a good thing). I remember my psych once telling me isolating myself was a symptom of the depression, that year i ended up doing a college course, i did drawing and painting. It was terrifying at first as i just wasn't used to people, but having something to go to weekly ended up being very therapeutic. Is there anything yo have an interest in, or anything you've always wanted to try? Maybe now, or in the near future might be a good time to find something you enjoy.
I don't ant you to feel like you will be alone forever. When i split with my ex (albeit he was an abusive !!!!!!) my self esteem was at an all time low, i as still ill and i felt nobody would ever ever ant to be with me, and that i could never be with anyone again. BUT i ended up meeting someone who despite their faults, ended up having a very positive effect on my life and well being. it made me understand that despite what i thought of myself, i could be with someone. There's the saying you have to learn to love yourself before anyone else can, and in some parts that feels true. You have to believe in yourself and see the positives. If you can be happy on your own that too is also a huge thing. It took a long time to learn i am ok on my own, and once i got that into my head it opened me up to meeting new people and moving on. It takes time, but if you want it to happen, it hopefully willThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
MU so glad your boss was understanding and Swain too. For heat rash or rash from skin chafing in the heat, I use sudocrem. It is for nappy rash and burns but is also awesome for trwating and preventing rashes from sweat and razor rash
((((((Katy))))) the paddling pool sounds very inviting.
Mmmmm strawberries
(((((Calley))))) your fan sounds awesome, it hit 38 degrees in Spain too. Hope you have plans tomorrow, even if you just go to a garden centre for a potter and a cuppa.0 -

It's sometimes hard to be assertive at work (my first panicky thought is usually they will fire me! even though my manager has assured me there's a log list of people she would fire before she even got to me!) BUT if things are putting you at risk, or even putting others at risk, work need to addresss it. Regarding safety issues (someone got electrocuted???) would it help if if were a group of you bringing it up? That way you're not speaking out alone.
In terms of personal situation, work needs to be a bit more co-operative. I'm not 100% certain of law regarding holiday entitlement but i'd have thought that at the very minimum you are entitled to your standard holiday time? If its an issue of cover do you have HR department who sort that kind of thing out? Also my GP practice has an occupational health part, and they can give you advice on work issues, as can a union (if you belong to one) or i think ACAS. They might be able to provide you with advice and support in getting your voice heard. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
