I made the scones, and they're blooming gorgeous....even if I say so myself! :rotfl:
I've no excuse really, I wouldn't say I was feeling fragile or anything, wasn't even thinking of anything in particular this morning tbh. I changed the date on the wooden block calendar (you'd have thought that would have prompted my memory, but oh no!) and all I was thinking was I'll have my coffees, then get some washing on! :rotfl:
He managed to make me feel even more guilty, but in a nice way. He took a lovely photo on Sunday from the top of the mountain. He got the cairn in with the view in the background, very artist and a really good shot! Anyhow, he got 2 (one for me, one for my Mam) printed onto an acrylic. It looks beautiful and of course, is very very thoughtful.0 -
Your kung-fu fighters sound awesome, WaS
I can lend them some cheerleaders if you like?

It sounds lovely Georgie.
Your not you yet IFYSWIM so really don't beat yourself up for forgetting.
WaS can I borrow them please, achieved lots here (am at work) but getting so frustrated with the housing association, my head, my period is now late, my arm is bloody weak again.0 -
Aw, that is sweet of OH, Georgie! Making him scones is also sweet! Do give yourself a break, WaSp and I are both guilty of forgetting as I said, I am not sure that we would remember and actual wedding anniversary either!
Oooh, HBS! They need cheerleaders! I wonder if I can introduce a team in the background?
You can borrow them, Melly! Well done on what you achieved at work with everything else going on. Look after that arm and do go back to your doctor if needed.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

That's brill-I- ant! Yey, Georgie, save a scone for tomorrow and stick a candle in it! That'll make him laugh!Georgiegirl256 wrote: »

Edit....I know! Pop out and get a lovely frame for it, frame it and ask him to knock a nail in the wall so that you can put it up! Knowing that you like enough to put it on display will be GOOD!
WaS! Kung fu Fighters! Yey! Doing what Cynthia Cyst couldn't do! Hahahahaha!(I just lurve spiders!)

Funny you should mention Cynthia, Pyxis. Her little friend Cyril on my leg has grown a bit lately. I think I am turning into a giant water cyst, how Kafkaesque...
They psychosis is noticeably improved today. Yesterday was awful, I spent most of it sitting on the floor in a corner of the bedroom with Wasp bringing me hot drinks. I couldn't even have him in the same room as me because his clothes and hair were too noisy. When I am very psychotic my senses get confused and colours hurt my ears, it all gets very mixed up. I do think it is worse after I have been stable for a while, I become complacent and forget how difficult it gets. I always have weird thoughts and just accept them and let them go but when there is psychosis there is a huge compulsion to carry them out.
Tiny penguin- Many of these involve hurting myself in some way but it isn't a bad feeling. It feels fun and exciting and makes me laugh and laugh at the thought. I want to do it, it feels like it will be beautiful. Usually I resist and did yesterday but it is a constant battle in my mind and very exhausting. End tiny penguin.
I have also noticed by keeping a record for a year that these episodes always seem to occur within a week of TOTM on either side. It seems the hormone imbalance is destabilising my other chemicals. There isn't a solution, I just need to try to prepare myself for the possibility when it gets near. One of the biggest problems with psychosis, though is because your brain isn't working 'normally' at the time you quickly lose the memories. This will seem to me like a vague dream in a few days until it happens the next time. It makes it very hard for me to protect myself each time and it always feels unexpected.
Oh well, other than TD from the vast amount of anti-psychotics I have consumed I seem to be better now!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

!
It's already up, well standing on a corner unit in the kitchen! It isn't something that needs framed, it's acrylic glass about a quarter of an inch thick. It looks perfect!
Your Kung Fu Fighters sound brilliant WaS! Somewhere, I have this little soft toy gerbil/hamster thing which when you press it's paw swings this thing around and the Kung Fu Fighters song comes out!26 years eh? I guess he's a keeper then?!
Glad things are easier for you today, hugs x x
Melly, hugs, you take care of yourself, and if your arm appears to be getting worse, go to the hospital.0 -
