I took my first tab this afternoon after the dr's. So about 3.30.

The half life of the tabs seems to be 36hrs.

I take my morning meds and the smaller dose of amitryptaline in the morning/noonish, tramadol throughout the day and a larger dose of amitryptaline at night as the higher dose knocks me out.

I have reminders in the my phone for the morning and bedtime ones, during the day the pain tells me when i need more painkillers!

    Hello Metranil!

Of course you can chip in whenever you like.

I don't think anyone has heard from Tea. :(

Gingernutty, a lot of us know what binge eating is like, so you are not alone, by any means.
And as for not getting things done, well I'm a past master at that! Pyxis the procrastinator, that's me! :D
What you say you have done sounds quite a lot to me! Anyway, sometimes you need time out from planning and doing. And you have another week, until you're back at work properly!

Calley's idea of spending an hour on each of three things sounds good to me. An hour is manageable and gives you a cut-off point, which you can take or carry on as the mood grabs you. Worth a try, anyway! I think I'll try that technique myself!

If you go out for a walk say, don't take any money or cards with you. That way, you won't be able to buy any junk food while you're out.

I need to go to bed. I am pinned to the chair by 25 kg of snoring Gitdog. And I have started watching a very bad film which I will now feel obliged to watch till silly o'clock. Knowing I will regret it in the morning doesn't seem to give me any incentive to move though - no willpower whatsoever.

Today I've sprayed weeds, bought junk food, ate most of it, swiffered around my bedroom, and recorded

The Mighty Quinn, Water, Gandhi, Oliver & Company, Electric Dreams, Arrivederci Grimethorpe and now I'm on The Lost Boys.

I'm really impressed by the sound quality of the records considering they're over 30 years old. :o

I take my meds as soon as I get up. Right now, it's just inhalers and tablets for asthma and hayfever.

I've made an appointment to see the doctor on Thursday morning to see if I can be referred to the eating disorders people...
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Ah the old..."i've started watching it so i'm committed now and have to finish it even though it's crap" conundrum :p has happened to me many a time...

Aww bless gitdog, i'm sure he's just giving you some love :D

The lost boys - love that film but haven't seen it for years. Alien rising is the current carp which I have no idea why I'm watching. Moviemix has a lot to answer for.

Hope you doctor finds you some decent support, Gingernutty - do you know what services are available round your way?

Best of luck wishes to you Gingernutty :)

hugs and cosy, positive vibes to everyone, of whatever is of most use to you :)

Got some of the previously decided upon clutter out today - will be able to do a lil more tomorrow. Maybe. Still, everything that goes is progress! I'm really not kondoing properly, but the 'joy spark' is being very helpful to me in making decisions. Just wish I didn't have to plod so very very slowly.

I'm also avoiding doing important phone calls to the DWP - and I have to do them!

    Help....

    Having a slight freakout.

Its half past midnight and i've just discovered i have a new housemate  went to the toilet and saw somebody is now in the vacant room. don't know why but its freaking me out, after the first nasty piece of work who was here when i moved in and the current serial complainer downstairs i'm seriously hoping this isn't another nutjob (i say that lovingly, not meaning to cause offence)

I have visions of me being called anti social again just because i like to keep myself to myself :( ah the pitfalls of house sharing :(

also is it bad im hoping it not another guy as i'm slightly sick of the guy downstairs leaving hairs in the sink after shaving (yuk!) and leaving the toilet seat up :o

I come with hugs, biscuits, and new fairy lights for the fort!

WaS, have you tried doing a relaxation as if you were back in WaS's friend's flat by the seaside? You did seem very well there, and sometimes if I visit a place that I love, it helps me to close my eyes and remember that the precious place is still there, with the wind gently blowing (perhaps sitting outside that very quiet pub with WaSP?) xxxxx
