Not editing that post again, so new post.... :rotfl:
Offcially started a new healthy kick yesterday. I;ve download the fitbit app for my phone so i can track daily steps (aiming for the 10.000 to start with) and so i can track calories and exercise. Yesterday i had chicken, with peas, sweetcorn and carrots for my main mealRealised i need to eat more veg! Today I've had a jacket potato with beans and may have something else later. I'm trying to keep my calories around 1500, hoping that cutting back by 500 of the daily allowance may help. And i'm trying to drink more water.
Think i might go swmming later if i can find my swimming costume!
Basically, i now have a goal, my cousin is getting married next Easter and i'd like to have lost some weight by then. I know it will be a slow process but slow and steady wins the race. It would be nice to treat myself to a nice outfit in a smaller size, plus i hate having my picture taken anyway so at least if i lose some weight i may not feel as self conscious. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I try to but get so het up and emotional. Last night I got so wound up that I was sick.
I think I need to give myself a good telling off before I do anything. And work out the pros and cons before I do anything in haste.
Not easy to do but the best thing to do before I act me thinks.

CalleyPros and cons are always good to work out, sometimes i make actual lists
Helps to process it a bit better.
It may be difficult to do at first as you're probably used to reacting impulsively, but over time it should get easier to cope with. And if all else fails i find shouting into a pillow sometimes helpsThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

CalleyIf there's one thing this illness has taught me, its that at times i really need to be kinder to myself. There's been times i've not exactly been nice to myself and i find being kinder helps me feel a bit better about the little things.

I need to over haul everything in my life. From my diet to my spending.
Work out why I get so annoyed and how to deal with it.
I know there is no such thing as "normal" but to be as normal as I can for me. And that I can't always have what I want and to be more understanding.
I suppose the biggest thing for me that I have admitted I can't cope and need to sort it out.

Thank you MU, hugs are welcomed. I feel absolutely terrible. In some ways it's harder when I feel stable for a while because I forget how bad it is when I'm not and it always seems worse. Voices yelling, images of other worlds, very odd thoughts, emotions that are inappropriate to the circumstance and a strong urge to either run out on the street screaming or flush away all my medication (I so want to do the latter). I won't do either, instead I will sit and take some more anti-psychotics.
This will pass as always. Just a day of messed up chemicals.
I am reading everyone's posts and might comment later but I can't trust myself to do so right now. Hugs to all that need them, though.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I have read that its 80% diet and 20% exercise to help loose weight.
I am binge eater and eat when stressed, up set etc.
I am now going to give my cards to my husband. I have food in the house and really don't need anything more. As have books and cross stitch to do.
I need to eat better, exercise and get a goods nights sleep and take my tablets and that should help me get some of the way where I want to be.
Its my birthday next month. And get the feeling I will be celebrating it on my own again !!!!! Oh joy.

Colouring In Books There's an interesting article in today's Daily Mail about the psychological therapeutic benefits of these books. Must confess I was a bit snooty about them before I read it. So, as I need to chill out a bit just now I'm going to have a go. I know some of you do them already and sing their praises so I'll be interested to find out for myself how I get on. Amazon here I come (ouchie!).................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Yup.
Everything.
Diet.
Fitness.
I've been on off duty since last Wednesday morning. I don't have to go to work (properly) until next Wednesday.
There are three training days but I was essentially free for a fortnight.
I have got next to nothing done.
A few loads of laundry, some records onto CDs, a bit of gardening, some tidying up and that's about it.
PENGUIN
I've been binge eating on and off for days. The only reason I've been leaving the house is to go junk food shopping.
I'm a sad, fat, little hermit.
END OF PENGUIN
I am currently going through film soundtrack albums.
Gandhi anyone? Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0
