Let's face it, in the days before fridges, that used to happen all the time!
Just had a thought. I was told as a child you knew when a pheasant was ready to eat. It would be hung by its head until the body fell off.
So must have had maggots in it or on it.
Sadly my rabbit got put down due to blow strike a few years ago. That was horrible to see.

Do you know what your 'faults' are, or is it just a general lack of confidence thing?
I have a total lack of confidence in everything at the moment.
At one stage I got so bad with my driving that if I over took a cyclist. I would loop back round to make sure I had not knocked them off. Even though I knew I had not. I would make myself late sometimes because of it.

I can understand that. It always a bit nerve-wracking overtaking a cyclist. I have to laugh sometimes, when I wait ages for a suitable moment to overtake them, then at the next junction or lights they catch me up, go sailing past and then I have to wait patiently for ages for a suitable moment to overtake them again! :rotfl:
It's a bit like that scene with Mr. Bean on the staircase where he keeps getting stuck behind very slow old people! Still, I don't mind really!(I just lurve spiders!)

On the same day a few years ago I came across two families where they had had a boy after four girls. One of the mothers was 19 :eek:Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0

Penguin reply to Calley-
When I couldn't look after myself I often had maggots in my house along with all manner of creepy crawlies. Funnily enough, I never became ill. I think it was largely due to the fact that my constitution was so strong by then that nothing could touch me. Try not to feel bad about it, I wash dishes (or WaSp does) straight after every meal because I don't trust myself not to allow it to end up the same way again.
I also feel that I am a threat to people's safety. I am not sure if you have read back but I find it very hard when people die, even if I have never met them I feel that I somehow caused it. I often feel that I put people into danger and it terrifies me. Something I was told on our past thread that really helped me was "You are not that powerful." Neither are you, Calley.

Hugs to all that need them, I am feeling weird today. I had a very bad night's sleep with lots of coughing and feeling freezing and I have electric shock feelings down the side of my face from the Neuralgia. Combine that with PMS and I'll be in the fort. Please throw in biscuits when passing!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Not sure if paranoid or not.
Email last week trying to force me to use listening equipment (already have recordings) I ignored and sent it to shelter for them to deal with as should be part of case review.
Next day letter about bin locations sent (so hissy fit cos not got own way I thought) again sent to shelter with a comment qbout them bei g so blinded by my bins that have been there since April they didnt see the repairs that i have been chasi g or whre anyo e elses bins are.
Following weekend (bad but not as bad as weekend before) neighbours have gone away hmmmmmm I'm thinking that's what let's get the listening equipment in immediately for 2 weeks (which shows nothing) was all about.
Oh and the people who they let the flat next door too, still not moved in and won't be doing for at least another 7 weeks so the rush was......0 -

MessedUp, it took me a long time, but eventually I discovered that you can have a good time without alcohol!
It's a matter of getting into the 'silly zone'!
Plus, you don't feel dehydrated or hungover in the morning!
And it's cheaper!
There have been experiments done with fake alcohol where people who thought they were drinking alcohol got very merry and enjoyed themselves , and were astounded afterwards to learn they hadn't had alcohol!
You can 'pretend' you're tipsy, even when you're not!(I just lurve spiders!)
