Well done on sorting out the sealant, Calling. Enjoy the showers!
Fmess - hope you have a wonderful fun-filled weekend.
tog - phew to maintaining your NSD in the face of potential disaster!
So, Lilty, will your July challenge include a rule about 'making £40'?!
Today I am grateful for the peace and quiet of this time of night, for dd having a great time playing out, for the washing machine still deigning to function, for seeing some of the planes making their practice moves in readiness for a local airshow (or maybe it was the actual airshow day and we saw some of the live action!), for a wonderful Brambly Hedge dvd.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hiya turtles.
It hasn't rained here yet but felt bit cooler this afternoon. I was hoping it would, friends away on holiday and heaps of plants to water, plus my own.
Productive day, finally resealed my bath, so can have showers again. Planted up a wall basket as well.
Couple of dog walks, even though my feet feel sore. Went to market to get basket plants this am and 2 guys on the stall. One not exactly full shilling, if anyone has seen Lenny Henry as a gardener in new series about lottery win/ forget what it is call just like him. Not being tight, but pair had me in hysterical laughter. £5 for 5 plants, packing them for me 'how much for this one.
Off to bathe. Good news on yr party booking Bob.
Enjoy your weekend away Fmess
Thanks very much. And how unkind of the weather to spoil your plans for less labour. Enjoy the bath" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

She was just squashing me to the point I couldn't eat and my kidneys were huge with hydronephrosis that I had suffered since 5 months with. That wasn't fun! She came out a happy, healthy 6lbs13 - and she was teeny and pudgy!
I didn't notice a difference with my bump during the day but she tended to stick her bum out and completely change the bump shape repeatedly during the day!
goodness, have never heard of that condition before. Sounds really painful & awful. I'm so glad your little lady was just fine." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

A SFD. DS3 went out for the day. Lots of jobs done - not as many as I would like but progress. Had a bath and washed my hair (very low probability of unexpected deliveries).
Today I am grateful for sunshine, making new things from old (once I work out how to re-assemble the jumble of misshapes pillows) and lovely food from use ups (have peeled and chopped all the remaining onions/ potatoes/ cooking apples and wrinkly peppers). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Would not wish it on my worst enemy. Indescribably painful. I was taking the strongest codeine tablets religiously just to get through the day. I went cold turkey from the day I went on maternity leave so that she didn't have to go into the special care baby unit to be weaned off itso I felt very lucky to take her home despite being in serious pain for the last 4 weeks. They induced me on my due date because they didn't think I could take any more! I had 40+ stitches (TMI sorry) but I was on cloud 9 and fair floated out of the hospital the next day looking and feeling amazing because the kidney pain disappeared within about 3 hours of birth!!! Apparently I've got about an 80-90% chance of it happening next time... Not on your nelly mate

apple I wouldn't force you all to try and make £40!!Lets face it, 90% of the people on this challenge have sold, sent to charity or thrown anything not desperately required!!
We are all veterans now

Hello Turtles! I could have sworn I posted yesterday, but apparently not... so sorry for the absence.
Rain stopped play a bit today... I got dressed to go for a run, then realised I was running late, so I did some more sorting in my office and got shot of another box of random things taking up space. I also packaged my 8 books to drop off at Asda for We Buy Books, and organised a shopping list. OH decided to come with me - brave, considering the trip involved a pick-up of the cat's prescription, the book drop, a bank trip to pay money in, and the shopping. Well, taking the car was nice, but he did need a sit in the caf! to calm his nerves, and he was a bit saucer-eyed going round the aisles, though not as much as usual. So, a tad spendier than normal, but £25.58 in vouchers helped mitigate that, I've already put my Shopitize through and have a bit to put through on Quidco as well.
We were supposed to go for a free tennis lesson as well, but the shopping was stressful enough for today. So I've done a bit of work, some reading and watched Ashes to Ashes and Shakespeare in Love with him - a lovely, lazy day.
Just chillaxing before bed now with a nice glass of our homemade sloe gin.
Night all!Keep reading books!

Afternoon everybody
Not checked in since Thursday evening!!! <slap!>...
Friday was work and pizza night (shop bought) in the houseshare I live in... Saturday I went shopping for stuff for a BBQ I went to last night... and today I had to go out and buy some indigestion remedy as had heartburn from over-indulgence I think!!! So - a spendy few days (accounted for) and no more SFDs!!!
Still on SFD for June = 6 so far
I worked out I'm allowed 2 more spend days until the end of June!!! That's going to take some planning... But I do love a challenge!!! I'm going to scrutinise the calendar and see where to take them!
Going to make something with left over vegetables in a bit - that will do me a few meals... and make sure I use all the odds and ends I have before buying anything else...
I hope everyone else is having a nice weekend
