Ditto :T I feel a lot more positive, which is a first after work, lol. I truly do have a lot to be thankful for. Especiallythe fact I'm actually in the position to repay the debt. When I look at how much I started with, I cant complain. Can I ask a question to those with cats? What do you feed them? My 6 month old is on royal cannin but I'm finding it quite expensive at the moment and was thinking to switch for a month or so, or mix it with something else. Thanks:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -
Today I am grateful for a big old oak tree, for a wondrous display of artwork at dd's school, for cuddles with dd, for dh coming home tonight, for good strong coffee.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Traveller my cat has always had wh!skas, I look for it on offer and often get it for between £8 and £10 for 40 pouches. He has two a day so about £15 a month, plus a pack or two of Ald! Cat biscuits per month (think they are 79p a box).

Just a quick update from me: NSD No. 7, LTW no. 10.
I am hoping tomorrow will be another NSD. I don't foresee any spendy day before the weekend as the fridge/freezer/cupboards are still well-stocked. Might run out of bananas but plenty of other fruits to fall back on, so I will stretch these NSD's as much as I can. I consider it an achievement to have 7 NSD's and it's not even mid month yet. Last month, the most I had was 6. Keeping my fingers crossed that I would have my 3rd target of 20. Checking in, not much to report for today - going to do some market research after work, so that's £40 in the pot, although I think I might treat myself to a takeaway and top up my car with the rest. Still only on 1 SFD... must do better
Abundent, that was a really nice post - very well saidProud to be debt free September 2014. :j

Good morning,
yesterday was quite a good day. A SFD, went for a swim, did not smoke, and had a wee cookathon. Made dinner, a big batch of beef and veg bolognese and a italian meatloaf for the freezer for quick kids dinner.
Tody should be another SFD and I'll go for a bike run.
Traveller can't really advice as our moggie is 14 and on only dry food now and the odd proper meat as she can't take wet food any more (makes her sick now). But when she was younger we had her on either kitk@t, wh!skas or f3lix, whatever was on offer. Later I also tried the own brand ones and they were ok. She'd have two pouches a day and a bit of G0-Cat dryfood.
Yesterday, the fridge went off too and I thought oh no not that one's broken too. But it happened that the whole street was out rather than our appliances broken. But the freezer is definitely not right. Have to have it running constantly on the "S" button which is I think the "superfreeze" button and it runs without break
. Started having a look on GumTr33 as we might do the kitchen up in the next 5 years so I don't want to buy a new one now.

Hello turtles!
Another SFD yesterday, and a 5p roadkill find. Also, a stupendous amount of freelance work done - I was about to start burning the midnight oil, which i didn't want to start doing, but that's another chapter down and dusted. Spotify was helping me enormously - brief periods of unpredicted pleasant aural stimuli (I went for Clannad) , followed by no music, followed by more music. In essence, I was trying to maximise the 'Mozart Effect' which works for other types of music but needs to be new and doesn't work for long. It only helps with spatial reasoning, but as an editor it is good to place yourself within a fictional world, it's timelines and geography, and see that it all makes sense the way the writer has put it. Plus, I can't sing along to Clannad in Gaelic :rotfl:
That's my excuse anyway.
With a few SFDs stacked up, I will treat myself tonight by going to see a free comedy show. I will take OH - it will give him a break from the house, and hopefully be good stimulus. He'll probably want a couple of pints though...:p Me, I suppose I will fancy a dizzy water too, but need to remember my 2 budgets. I'm on track to lose at WW this week if I continue, despite all the chocolate almonds I've been snaffling at my desk. I had to move my belt to it's smallest notch this week!:D
Dinner tonight will be rump steak, bought YS for 50p - we will share it, as it's quite a big one and that's 130g protein each. Now, shall I do that with a mushroom sauce and mixed spud and swede mash, or Mongolian style with a sticky soy and ginger sauce and rice? Mmm...:think:Keep reading books!

Mongolian would get my vote YUM
Fajitas with HM salsa and guacamole for us tonight
On the note of road kill. Been also a bit luckier recently. DS's nursery is right next to the student union and the union grocery shop. Just started to keep my eyes to the floor more and pretty much found a penny or 5p every day last week.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Well that's it. Both bosses on holiday I am in charge hehe.:j
Spent money on the way to work, about 8.15, run out of washing liquid, annoying wanted to put a wash load on before work. Had 2 items in lidl, woman in front full shopping trolley and she didn't let me in front. Am I too nice? I always do that.
Anyway seeing as recovered 20 pounds off daughter, got my eyebrows tidied up 5.00. For that price well worth the time I spend trying to get all the stray hairs and don't have to hide them now, under my hair.:)
Wishus - mongolian sounds to die for. My food is so boring must pick up a cook book soon.
Updated my totals, 38.00 off credit cards today. Trying to eat healthy today. To be honest had a lovely gammon salad for tea yesterday and 2 glasses of wine. Well it's summer and had a long lost friend around, great to catch up.
Today get the paddling pool out again, very hot out there. Really have to convince grandson to wear his buzz swimming costume as could be nasty sunburn if he carries on running around naked.
Grateful for
Peace in the office - actually get more work done now.
No shopping required now for at least a week.
Having the cutest bunny ever, follows me everywhere and so curious trying to get into paddling pool yesterday.
Garden to die for, rhodendrons in full bloom it just looks gorgeous.
