NSD #4 for me. My day off so did a lot of decluttering. Went to the GP for my repeat prescription, nil spent as I have prepaid certificate. DS2's prescription also free. Raided the freezer and vegetable chiller, fish pie in the oven for dinner. I think I might still have a bit more energy left to cook tomorrow's food. Have a nice weekend everyone!"There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150

Evening all
Sorry for my quiet the last couple of days. Work has been eating me up and I couldn't face the computer in the evenings!
I am happy to report SFD #4 here today :j tomorrow I need to do a bit of shopping but tonight I am arming myself with pen and paper and making a list.
Holl and Bar sent me an email today with info on how to make my own nut butters. Very exciting stuff and easy too. Nuts.. subtle flavoured oil, sea salt. Blenderdefinitely beats the £3 tiny jar of cashew, hazelnut & peanut butter I bought the other day! Not allowed too many peanuts but other nuts are fine
mothernerd that gave me a giggle, thinking of you answering the door like that! I wouldn't have bothered!!
TheOnlyGirl what a fab little fella you have there. I do hope you remember his fruit juice on your next spend dayxx
academiablues big hugs to you. I had 2 clients (husband and wife) die recently. Hers was a shock, but his was horrifying and took a while to get over. We get close to people easily and it affects us in big ways. Take care of youxx
stewby haha!! Bless you. At least mum and dad don't charge interest
Calling you will not regret those epsom salts!! Such fab stuff!
Night all xxx

Today I am grateful for blue skies, for dh getting a properly thorough eye exam at the hospital, for bagging a reduced chicken and roasting it for dinner and it was melt-in-the-mouth yummy, for having the car so I could get all my well-dispersed errands done, for white bed linen.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

The peanuts thing is due to the levels of Omega 3 (good) versus Omega 6 (bad in quantities higher than Omega 3) fats in them. In fact the best of the best nuts are macadamias due to their fab ratio's. An optimum balance is a 1:1 ratio of 3 over 6, up to around a 4:1 but never more 6 than 3, which is what most diets currently contain.
My diet also advocates pork scratchings, mayonnaise and cream sauces :rotfl: - it is bizarre but it is working.:j

A SFD and a very lazy one - had a book that needs to go back to the library and was aching and creaky from yesterday's walk so read and then returned two books. Took out more books as only had one novel left, if it had been a dud then it would have been a long boring weekend. Also looking forward to an anti positive thinking book - aims to burst through all that over perky American stuff like 'let's turn that frown upside down'.
Hugs academia.
abundant, if you are going to go down the wine is fruit route I recommend the following from DS3's facebook feed/ wall thing
vodka is made from potatoes
potatoes are a vegetable
vodka is salad.
Today I am grateful for good books, bad books (one I have picked is so lightweight it could have floated home from the library by itself) and accessible MPs. There was some sort of theatre performance outside the library with one adult (plus a few 'crew' members) and lots of schoolchildren in Victorian dress.
Our MP had obviously stopped to watch and was chatting (and handing out requested autographs) to a group of teenagers/ young adults with learning difficulties. I went by into the library but was thinking of asking about the energy suppliers (think I am winning atm). When I came out he was talking to a rugby supporter but I sat down by the side of the library (still aching from yesterday) and was going to have a word when he had finished but got pipped at the post by a lad with Asperger's who was asking about his position on the proposed benefit cuts (I think specifically the ones aimed at young people but I was trying not to eavesdrop). Wonder if it will still be the same in a few weeks or whether we will all get flattened by the security detail. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Unplanned spend day today
OH had a thing that finished earlier than planned, and was kind of passing my work. Asked me if I fancied a coffee. When I finished work she was waiting and the m25 was closed so we went for a cheeky pint and some cheesy chips in the sun.Feb NST #4
