Not a thing, to be honest.0

I did NINE loads of washing and drying for my kids yesterday as a "surprise" (At 17 & 18 they are expected to do it all for themselves now).
When they got home their wash baskets were clear, the clothes all folded, put away and smelling lovely. 17yr old son was delighted - but asked WHY the washing always smells so lovely when I do it and not so lovely when HE does it?
I explained AGAIN about the importance of not over-filling the machine, about un-balling socks and making sure nothing is inside-out etc. It won't make a blind bit of difference but it was a GOOD thing and made me feel warm and tingly at the same time...0 -

NINE loads? You deserve a medal!!0 -
Just had a cake sale at work to raise money for Nepal. Got some cakes for my grandson and I, plus I got a 'lollipop' cake for my eldest as a surprise for her. Lovely cakes, plus I feel I've helped a little bit for those poor people.
On the way home I got a free Waitrose coffee and gave it to the big issue seller.
Small things, makes me feel better for the naughty things!! I confess I was putting the recycling out and dropped a tin can in the cardboard and plastics recycling bin. I really didn't feel like climbing into the bin to retrieve it, so just threw the cardboard on top. My bad!!0 -
I'm going to do something nice in a bit.
It'll involve a corkscrew, a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a glass. And me. Just me.
It's been a long week!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
One of the chaps at work was asking me about PPI, which I know nothing about. One of the other girls at work had some success in getting a refund so I got the two of them together to see if she could help him.0

I allowed a man with a carton of milk and a few oranges go before me at the till in the supermarket. He was delighted.
I am going to take my nephew age 12 to a Viking Exhibition. He is thrilled, so am I. He will be all mine for the day, yay!
I was on a day off last week, and took in ALL the neighbours bins for them, about fifteen of the things. Well into their front gardens anyway.
I am no saint, but honestly, this thread would make you feel that you can make a difference in very small ways, that makes me happy.0 -
I was chatting to a friend the other day who's been having a hard time lately, he mentioned a film he'd watched and how he really wanted to read the book. I popped into a couple of charity shops on my way home and found a copy so I bought it and gave it to him0

I was buying myself a sneaky fish and chips, and a young lady came in wanting to pay for a portion of chips on her card.
It was peeing down with rain and I was paying for my food while she was getting directions to the nearest atm, so I paid the guy an extra £1.40 for her chips.
She was many lots of thanks and I felt a little less guilty for my indulgence. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I asked my gran and my mum if they needed anything brought in from Morrison's. I went and got them what they wanted.0
