What have you done to be nice today?

Yes it was, it was very kind. I think most of us would have been inclined, at that time of night, to respond, 'for heavens sake its just a flaming spider!' So well done you.:)
I didn't intend to appear to be taking the same view, as the previous poster, that you had been unkind. I'm sorry if it came accross that way.0 -
Quite a few things today, which is unusual because im not usually in the mood to be nice to people.
- Did a transport for local dog rescue, taking one of their dogs to his new home, saw them posting on Facebook for a few days asking but no offers, I like dogs and I had nothing to do anyway.
- Saw a older lady struggling to carry her shopping home so parked the van up, got out and carried the shopping back to hers for her.
- Young lass trying to change a flat tyre at side of the road on a 2 lane 50mph road. put my van at a angle across the lane a bit, jumped out and changed it for her. (she gave me her number but I did it just to be nice honest)
- Called on a friend to help my flatmate get home from what is now his new job, meaning he can now sign off and my friend will get £25 a week petrol money for his trouble.
and - just cleaned my next doors neighbours windows for him while I was doing mine, hes in his 80s and refuses to pay for a window cleaner to do them, took a extra five mins so what the heck.
Actually really happy nowNo man is your friend, No man is your enemy. Every man is your teacher.

Not a bad week so far. A few little things here and there, but the most important thing was-I became a blood donor!!
Two of my friends have just recovered from serious medical conditions that necessitated them having a great many blood transfusions, without which they would have died. I've been meaning to do it for years, this week I got on with it.
So, if you can, give blood, you never know when you might need it. Thank you.0
