yesterday i had a customer's order come in that had been delayed, the customer was going on holiday today and had no way of collecting the order as both him and his partner were at work. i was planning on going to my parents house today as they are away for 3 weeks to check the answer phone and water to plants. as the customer lives near my parents i went yesterday instead and dropped the order off at the customers house.
happy customer with contact lenses to wear on holiday.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
We had a work lunch organised by our social committee, anyone cooking in a canteen in this weather needs a medal!! Very nice lunch indeed, and I could take my grandson, he was so good.
My friend is getting a new dog and wants a dog cage. I have a spare cage so gave her that today. She gets a free cage, I get rid of a cage, everyone is happy!0 -

Got called from work to ask if I could work an extra shift as we were short, so went in last night. Got to work with a good friend of mine that I haven't spent much time with, due to differing work schedules, so a win-win there. Also agreed to work with her next week when we're short.
I gave some advice to a chap last night about female dogs when they are in season. I hasten to add it's because the subject came up from him, not that I was dishing out random info!! I've always had female dogs, so I'm well up on that.
Some jobs are being advertised at our place, passed that on to someone who is looking to work there.
Not a bad few days so far this week.0 -

Just been to my local church and put some flowers on the grave of my OH's Nan and Grandad.
Sadly I didn't get to meet either of them but I know what they meant to the in laws so thought I'd do my bit on this lovely day before heading to workThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I gave up my seat on the train for a pregnant lady.
My reward for this act of common decency, a woman on the next train decided that, rather than simply saying "excuse me", the easiest way to get me to move was to use her buggy as a battering ram and take some of the skin off of my ankle...0 -
Just done my shopping and put some stuff in the food bank.
Took my friend shopping with me as she can't drive.
Sorted out the airing cupboard so have a load of sheets, duvets etc for either my niece or the charity shop.
One of the young girls from work is leaving today, so I made her a little teddy bear keyring charm.
On the minus side, a snail was stuck inside the front door this morning. I picked him up and put him outside, forgot about it then stepped on the damn thing as I went out!! Whoops!0 -
