Gave some boxes of herbal tea to an anti poverty charity to use them up, they are lovely people and have been a great help to me.

Some jobs are being advertised at our place, passed that on to someone who is looking to work there.

After singing the praises of my friend to the management, and after a good interview on her part, my friend got the job!!! We're going out for a drink to celebrate tomorrow night.

I've started swimming again, a friend saw I was going and we've arranged for a weekly meet-up and swim. Win-win situation as we can swim and chat at the same time!!

Visiting a friend tomorrow who's just had an operation.

    Donated to the food bank.

My best friend has come with me twice for hospital appointments so I'm not going on my own.

I've ironed my daughter's shirt for her interview this week.

Note to self-don't forget to do this a bit more often, there's things I've probably forgotten!! Happy Monday, everyone.

I took my non driving friend food shopping today.

Donated some tins to the food bank.

Had a lovely visit from my friend and her little boy.

It's not raining here, always a bonus!

I calmed someone down who was losing their mind over the supposed threat of dihydrogen monoxide.

Alternatively, you could say I made them look a bit foolish, but I'm still saying it was a nice thing to do.

Was going to ask what it was, then I googled it. Google before asking!! Thanks, it made me laugh!

I was in BM stores today standing behind a bloke at the checkout till. He looked like he'd fallen on hard times. He had two x one litre of Frosty Jack cider and a packet of crisps. He asked the assistant to price them up in case he didn't have enough to pay for them. He had a handful of change but was 20p short.

I said, "Put your money away mate. I'll treat you to them."

I've never seen anyone so grateful.

A slug had crawled into the doorway of our French doors and unfortunately been squashed. Yuk!! I wasn't looking forward to getting it and it's squashed remains out (just the thought of it made me feel sick) so I asked my daughter to do it. Quick wipe round with some kitchen roll, job done, thanks Christina!!

Following on from amistupid's comment above, we had an elderly customer who had about £20 worth of shopping and he couldn't remember his PIN. A customer standing behind him said don't worry and paid for all of it for him. Lovely chap!

Stood for 45 minutes outside the post office listening to an old neighbour (in his nineties) telling me stories I already knew about. I hadn't seen him for months.

On holiday a coffee chain store only charged me for two instead of three coffees. So I told them. Not sure why I did it as the coffee is so expensive.
Never again will the wolf get so close to my door

Witnessed a driver (Who didn't know I was parked up) merrily smash her car into the vehicle in the next-door space and drive away before I could stop her. Got photos on my phone, and my dash cam got a lot of it on video. Left a note on the poor dented car, telling the owner to call me for photos and video, which he has done. Hopefully he can get things sorted out now.

This is a karma thing - my husband's car was hit and the other driver just drove off. Thankfully, a nice pedestrian photographed the impact and made it open and shut with the insurers. Pay it forward!
