Well, I guess that sometimes (at least) they look at the posts that are reported.
It is just that they don't seem to (and probably can't be expected to - it's just a job after all) read sufficient of what goes on in the Forum to be able to get a well-rounded impression of what sometimes goes on.
You know, the things that sad people like us (who are on this forum far, far too much
) see in bits and pieces over a prolonged period.
We can't expect someone rushed off their feet in a busy job to put together the painstaking little clues like Colombo or Sherlock.

DT is quite civilised generally. I thank MSE for providing the means for people to get together and whine (let's face it) but people need to report posts when there is a real problem and too often MSE resources are called in for spats. If I was moderating I would get rid of repeat reporters rather than the repeatedly reported. That's where the impact of limited resources lies.0

Not sure about the moths, the last I heard was that she'd blown holes in his underpants with a blow-torch as a punishment for eating her chicken fridge-raiders. He wanted to know if he should borrow her knickers or just wear his holey ones

. Where is that thread. ? Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
The next station will be the final destination ... "Thread Graveyard".
Please make sure you have all your posts (suitably edited by the Forum Team of course) with you before you leave.
We apologise for the loss of some posts by this thread.
This was due to unforeseen openness, and we are not very well equipped to deal with that.0
